I don’t think this is a good system for invites for people who have friends that don’t have an apple device.

Although the concept is great there are something’s that would make this a five star app. Sometimes people don’t want to download apps so it would be nice to have the option as the host to accept or decline the invite for the invitee if they tell the host in person their response, when dealing with families giving the host the option to add all individuals in that family that are invited under one invite instead of 4 invites for a family of four that way the head count is correct. Right now if someone accepts and adds their husband the husband isn’t added into the count. Also would be great to add a section where links or notes can go. For example of you do a gift registry being able to add that link or in my family they like to create a note listing the links and pictures of gifts they want so people can see exactly what they want and where to get it. Right now you can create a note to send which I guess it could go on there but everyone who hasn’t accepted can’t click the links.. also include more fonts, and backgrounds and this would be a five star for my parties

Love that Apple released this native evite app and it’s super easy to use BUT: it doesn’t work for folks without an Apple ID, there’s no way to manually mark rsvp responses for people, and there isn’t a way to bulk add contacts as guests (it seems you have to add each guest one at a time) soooo it’s a little clunky but high hopes for future updates!
  • Need an apple account? Stupid.

I’ve used this a few times and I generally like it. But turns out none of my guest do because in order to rsvp they say you need an Apple account. Absurd gatekeeping or bad user experience I’m not sure which.

Would love a collaborative notes section for if you need to put together a meal plan or anything else
  • Needs sign-in-less option

Apple of all people should know when you add too much friction to a software people don’t want to use it. I don’t want to be constantly fielding tech support questions from less tech literate people simply wanting to confirm they are coming. Why is sign in required for Apple devices? Why if you use a former icloud email it wants you to sign in? I get there are apple features but that shouldn’t hinder the invite. It should be optional. Until all these are fixed, this app is useless. Also you should add checklists and ability for people to add what they are bringing.

Love the app, but there’s only one thing that will turn this perfect, the ability that you the host be able to mark who is going or not since some people don’t understand the concept of just getting on the link and answer it there. They just answer through text.

Love the user friendly app, adding an invite cover and Detail is spot on! Adding a music playlist is the icing on the cake. However, I’ve had many people tell me they need to sign in, or they need a code to view the invite and then the invite disappears. Many are Android users, but still…

I truly love using the Apple Invites app and have used it several times since it was released. It’s so easy to use, looks beautiful, and makes event planning feel personal yet fun. I’ve even shared it with my friends and family, and they’ve downloaded it too everyone loves the clean design and how seamless it is to send and track RSVPs. That said, I think a few small updates could make it even better! I’d love to see an option to set up reminders for guests to RSVP. Recently, a friend sent me an Evite, and after viewing the invitation I totally forgot to respond until I got a little text reminder. Having that gentle “nudge” feature built into Invites (via text or email) would really help! It would also be amazing if the images on the invites could be animated even simple motion would give the designs a more dynamic, modern feel. Overall, I absolutely love this app and hope to see it continue to grow. It’s quickly become my go-to for planning and sharing events! 🍾✨
