I appreciate the improvements that have been made to this app over the years. I’ve been using Garmin devices for a while as the primary way to track fitness activities and am pretty satisfied with the interface and usability.

Systems notifications are on, notifications review are on, and the background permissions are always live. I never slide up the app yet the app continually disconnected.

Garmin stepped in it again. Update on IOS logged me out, and erased My devices. Now I get to waste time and frustration reattaching them. Don’t they test these releases?

Got a new iPhone 16 an app wouldn’t connect. Followed every direction out there including stopping and starting both phone and watch a gazillion times, deleting and reloading app… Etc. etc.. ended up canceling ALK Garmin accounts. going back to the Fitbit! Oh yes… And they keep your annual subscription money when you cancel!

  • Lifestyle Logging Gone?

The latest update made lifestyle logging disappear. I still get the morning and evening reminders but there is no place in health stats or otherwise to find it independent of the daily notifications. Please fix immediately!!!

Who thought it was a great idea to eliminate an easy to use metric overview?!? Who has the time or bandwidth to do deep data dives for every little workout?!? Honestly, the overview was perfect. Why would anyone mess with it?
  • Phenomenal for training

I’ve been using my garmin instinct solar for about a year now with this app and it’s by far the best app I’ve used in my running career so far
