I use it on the course and with my simulator, too. Very useful app. Love Garmin overall.
  • iPad Version!

The app is incredible on iPhone—super smooth and easy to use! The only downside is when it’s mirrored or used on a larger screen (like a monitor or TV), the mobile aspect ratio doesn’t translate well. It ends up looking stretched, boxed-in, or just awkward. An iPad version that fully supports the iPad’s native aspect ratio—especially when connected to an external display—would take the experience to the next level. It would look much more polished and professional, and make the app feel native to all Apple devices.
  • Latest Release UI/UX Issues

The most recent release went backwards in user experience. Not responsive nor configurable to ensure the entire scorecard is viewable on one screen with certain settings
  • Garmin golf on Epic watch

The user features on the program on the watch are very good and adequate. But surprisingly the yardage is often quite wrong. Often 10 to 20 yards off of the actual distance. But it's inconsistent six holes later it'll be spot on. I've very the satellites I use for all different possibilities and it makes no difference I always have to check the yardage versus the yard yardage posted on the course or by somebody next to me Bottom line, blindly you cannot trust the yardage
  • Shot tracking Data is difficult to validate / scrub

It’s a great app for what it is, but it is difficult to locate and remove any erroneous shot data from the club performance data in the app. I would ask for the ability to download, scrub, and upload all shot data in csv format and or create a webpage version that includes a full shot data table that would allow for editing or deletion of outliers. It would also be nice if short (<50 yards) bump and run shots played with eg. 7-9 irons were not included into average shot distance for those clubs. Ideally while in round the hole map would update with realtine GPS location as it does on the watch. I’m tagging along a bigger screen just to provide 4G/5G data connectivity just to assist with the Z30 and S62’s data needs but Garmin isn’t making any use of that screen mid-round like The Grint or 18 Birdies do.
  • Shot Map Only Shows a Couple Shots

The Shot Map only saves a couple shots over the course of 18 Holes. I've tried resetting the watch with no luck.
  • Best golf app hands down

If you have any garmin golf equipment the garmin golf app is a must have . It makes everything come together easily. It is the most comprehensive easy to use golf stats and course information. It can be used along with the different garmin watches and gps systems as well as R10 launch system.
  • Disappointing Club Stats

I love the Garmin S70 watch. The app takes some getting used to but once accustomed to making any necessary edits its good EXCEPT when something goes wonky with the sensors. This is the second time it recorded shots from a different hole, resulting in enormously long shots and sending my max distances sky high, e.g. my max distance for my pitching wedge is 439 yards. I could delete the errant shot recording but it does not change max yards for the club. Previously, Garmin Support told me to delete the club and add it again, meaning I would lose ALL of my stats for the club. I did it once and then went into every round and edited every shot that did not have a club assigned to be the club I deleted and added again. That did successfully reset the club average and max but it took me a very long time. Today I had a particularly wonky round and 8 of my clubs have bad max yards. Why don't they just recalculate the max yards dynamically? Don't they know computers do math pretty quickly? They must do dynamic calculations to compute average distance (if not, that's another problem). What good are the stats?
  • Almost perfect…

This app has everything that I was looking from a golfing app. Stroke tracker to track fairway shots, Green-in-regulation, putts. Great statistics tracking, all within a clean simple application. What it is missing is 1 thing. I would love it if I could post my golf scores directly to USGA GHIN. I have used other apps that let me post my score to my USGA GHIN account from companies much smaller than Garmin, and think this feature would be the cherry on top, making this a 5 star app. Truly love how this app works with my Garmin Fenix 7, could very early be a 5 stars. If this feature gets added in the future, I will be making this a 5 star review.

No more phone usage during rounds, which I love! Great accuracy as well. Score keeping is easy.
