Description

We're working to make the place we call home, better. As the largest newsroom in Arizona, and a Pulitzer Prize winner, we have an obligation to our community, to tell all the stories that need to be told. Whether it’s economic news, sports news or one of the many other subjects we cover, we believe that local journalism is valuable – it has the power to keep Phoenicians connected, to hold leaders accountable, to unite our city in celebration and spur us towards common goals. We’re Phoenix’s trusted storytellers. We’re here for it. WHAT WE’RE ALL ABOUT: • Investigative reporting that holds people, companies, politicians and the government accountable in Arizona. • In-depth coverage of the Valley’s real estate market • Sports coverage for locals, by locals: the Sun Devils, Suns, Cardinals, Diamondbacks and Arizona High Schools • Arizona’s election coverage, including the 2024 Presidential Election and local races for the U.S. Senate and House. • Voices, experts and personalities on the left and right side of politics APP FEATURES: • Real-time breaking news alerts • A personalized feed on the all-new For You page • The eNewspaper, a digital replica of our print newspaper + USA TODAY and 200+ local eNewspapers. Subscription Information: • The AZ Central app is free to download and all users can access a sampling of free articles every month. • Subscriptions are charged to your account at confirmation of purchase and automatically renew each month or year, unless turned off in your account settings at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. Love the Arizona Republic. It is important to know what is going on in your area. Food, Sports, local events and of course, national news. I use to get AZ Republic in paper form. Wish I still could but it got too expensive. The eNewspaper is pretty darn good though and has been a great alternative.

Wouldn’t, know what to do with myself without my morning news paper. Love it!

  • Facts, but why are opinions in the back?

I enjoy the enewspaper version. I’m disappointed so many authors “retired”, and that the opinion page moved towards the back. Format like a newspaper is preferable to the USA Today format. Keep investigating and telling the facts and identifying the opinions.
  • New App = No Go

I agree with reviewers unhappy with tweaks and changes. The new one now disappears when I tap the icon. Poof. Gone, just like unbiased reporting did years ago. I now have no access at all. Maybe just as well. Thank you app developers for ruining anything functional.
  • Not spacing between sentences

This seems to be a common practice , these glaring errors, don’t make for a Pulitzer Prize winning newspaper. Children in 6th grade know better!. William Byron

You keep changing used to be able to see each page in a full screen and read articles by moving up and down on the page and then go to the next page. Now cannot see a full page and trying to move around on the page is near impossible. Quit changing the app and process and go back to the way it was

Reading the AZ Republic has been an enjoyable morning ritual for me since 1988. It will continue to be.
