  • More biased reporting than I remember

I’ve been a long time subscriber and I don’t remember this specific paper being so biased against the Republicans. It’s to the point that I’m considering cancelling my subscription. I yearn for the days of news reporting without bias against a party.

The online paper is great. I am able to print or send articles to others. However, I get emails about articles, but when I open them, I can’t read the entire article because it asks me to subscribe to the paper to open it. Since I DO subscribe to the paper, I should be able to open these articles. What is going on???

Your new format is not going to get great reviews. Not attractive appearance and too much scrolling to get what you were looking for. You are doing the Cracker Barrel makeover without any good reason. You will lose subscribers.

The new update really shows just how little fresh substantive content is added each day.

Best coverage. What I want: coverage of any political topics from a viewpoint of what supports democracy. There may be different views of course about things, but they aren’t different views about basics like if we should stay a democracy or whether we should accept fascists and kings. The same walk over Arlington cemeteries graves with fake reverence to those who’ve died to defend democracy and our constitution . Arlingtons dead defended us well from foreign threats; they would scarcely believe any “party” could be allowed on the ballot presenting itself as democratic while undermining the very foundation for which they died. How do we sue our party for misrepresentation? How do we remove them from the ballot, such imposters -we need a class action civil suit by voters against their Republican “party “ for The biggest Bait and Switch job ever. Somebody needs to be asking how it’s been possible to abuse the court system with lawsuits in every state that present no evidence. Lawsuit after lawsuit brought without evidence is deserving of loss of law licenses and loss of lawsuit privileges by such parties- what happened to presenting evidence or being heavily fined and refused further lawsuits. Our court dockets are full enough with real cases waiting,…waiting …yet no judges reprimand and punishes “fake” claims - - What happened to Liable? I want keep hearing about the struggles around the world, and learn what we can do as citizens to help, since congress no longer is doing so. I want to know how much money is amounting- - between DOGE and dodging foreign aid, plus the tariffs now bringing in trillions $ ?? Ttypical sound Republican Party of old was for stabilizing our country by vast reduction of our deficit: So why with all the money amounting is it growing faster than ever before, by leaps and bounds. ……. I want to know who is accounting for the money “saved” - it doesn’t just disappear, where’s it going? Are the new “detainment” facilities and ICE requiring all this? Really? Are we watching to make sure gas chamber additions aren’t being built ? This presents itself like third reich preparation . Who is saying it….I mean did anyone see it coming the first time?

The news has it all. Whether it’s local, state, or national, the Star covers it all. The weather? Always on it. The sports coverage is out of this world.

I grew up in Indy so there’s that. But I’m really here for the excellent IndyCar coverage from Nathan Brown. I enjoy reading about the Fever, Pacers, and Colts as well.

Appreciate the timely news articles that are fact based. And appreciate the Indy Star continues to cover difficult topics that require in-depth research and coverage.
