  • Terrific way to read the paper as an adjunct to the printed version.

This is of course the exact same version as the delivered daily paper. Both have their strong advantages, but insofar as an app goes, this one is easy to navigate, display and archive. It really is terrific!

If you want to read about what was reported on other local news outlets in Tallahassee 3 days ago, the Democrat is for you.

Years ago as a grad student, I recall the Democrat as an afternoon paper. I have always desired to be aware of the world’s happenings . I reluctantly gave up the physical paper and appreciate the eNewspaper looking like my old friend. A touch of the world along with the state and opportunities nearby. For a bit more, Thanks for the USA Today being available .

Having just had cataract surgery with a new lens implant on my second eye I still am having trouble reading our printed paper. Reading it on my eye phone where I can adjust the font is great, & I hadn't realized there is more of some content, such as Zings!

I really enjoy reading the paper online. It’s easy to hold, you can easily adjust the font size for your eyes and adjust brightness. Unfortunately it doesn’t always load correctly and many times thr words are jumbled together justlikethissoyou have to figure out what it’s saying. Perhaps it’s not fully compatible with an iPad?

  • Journalism never more vital

Local reports with factual content are so important in today’s world of untethered observations that may or may not have any basis in reality. Overall, the 4th estate is critical to democracy, and the printed word continues to be more reliable and in-depth than the electronic media, much less the cotton candy known as social media. The cost of excellence in journalism via a newspaper subscription is an investment in our ideals as a nation, and without it, the dumbing down continues. And that’s even when the daily news annoys us or the paper seems thin.
  • Great local paper
