Getting very frustrated clicking on article only to have the letters in gibberish. This has happened constantly lately. Or you click on a story and another one or ad is on top of it - again unreadable. For a while before e-newspaper even showed up a USA subscription ad would appear that would not go away. Would have to delete the app, log in again, go through all the set up. This was happening about twice a week.

Since they updated the eNewspaper app, it has less glitches. Still enjoy the old school print version best. Also appreciate the local section
  • Terrible “upgrade”

Since being forced into this new app, the eNewspaper feature just spins and doesn’t load. Plan on canceling my subscription since I can’t even read the paper I am paying for.

I’ve subscribed to and read LSJ every day since I moved to the greater Lansing area in June 1974 (nearly 51 years!), so I’ve been through a few changes with the paper. I’ve gone from paying $.50/week to a carrier, to automatically paying for a year in advance. No problems! However, the brand new LSJ app will not let me rotate individual comics in order to read them one full comic at a time. (The old app allowed this rotation seamlessly.) PLEASE fix this bug in the new app! Not everyone, regardless of age, has 20/20 vision. Thank you! Debbie Warnaar

Changing to digital from print was a big change for me. I have learned to appreciate having the newspaper on my tablet. It is convenient when I need to read back issues. Another positive is making the print larger!

LSJ will automatically sign you up for all of these newsletters, etc. even though you don’t ask for it. You can ask them many times to remove you in the app and via email and they will never remove you. I highly recommend you avoid this company
