  • New design is horrible

The new design on active armor makes it very difficult to do things that were easily done in the old design. The old design was a five star in my mind. I’m debating whether to give this one or two stars with the new design.
  • Since Update 7.0, app crashing & increase in spam calls & texts.

When deleting call logs, app constantly freezes & at times crash. When I reopen app, call log is empty. Do we close app when it freezes, can we assume call log has been deleted?
  • Meh - text filtering awful

Text filtering does nothing, reporting requires you to forward suspicious text messages to 7726 then separately forward the number that sent that text to 7726. Ugh who uses this?
  • Rip off

It's a rip off. I've paid for a subscription for years. In recent months it stopped working but I'm still paying for broken software without a refund. And, I can't even access the free version....
  • Doesn’t Work

This app doesn’t block all calls. The calls we get are not recognized by Active Armor. These calls are not labeled as spam or fraud. They are local numbers and out of USA callers. This app needs better filters

Quit prompting me to install your your vpn non stop. It should be optional I’m already running a corporate one and there is zero need to keep nagging me to enable.
  • Services ceased to function

I have been using this service to screen and report incoming calls, however, suddenly ActiveArmor has ceased to analyze calls. No calls are going through the application any longer and are only coming straight to my iPhones phone application.
  • Update broke wifi scan notifications

Fancy update but accidentally pulled in a really old bug that reports I have joined safe wifi. I don’t need alerts for joining safe wifi. I only need alerts for unsafe wifi. Right now all I can do is turn of all wifi alerts. I did as the developer response said and turned off alerts at which point the app told me I turned off all alerts even those for unsafe WiFi. 😭 Additionally stop asking me to enable VPN. I don’t want your VPN.
  • Gone Downhill

Active Armor has definitely become less reliable and more unpredictable. Spam calls are getting through and after selecting to have them blocked they aren’t. In fact when you select to delete your call log the app enters into a vicious loop appearing to be in an indeterminate state and must be closed in order for you to be able to use your phone. Come on AT&T get this fixed please.
  • Hit and miss

Had to turn off all the web related stuff because it was blocking normal websites suddenly, including an AT&T one. Doesn’t always send unknown numbers to voicemail, lots of spam/fraud calls getting through, and it doesn’t allow me to block email text messages at all. Having to manually block everything at this point.
