Boggle With Friends: Word Game

The game stopped notifying you when it’s your turn like a year ago. How have you not fixed this yet? Trash.

The ads have become too much to take. It’s one thing to watch a brief ad, it’s another to get trapped in an ad with no way out. I’m done.

I’ve been playing Boggle with Friends for years now, and it’s great! Unless I’m in a room without WiFi, it works great. For me, I never had a problem with the app. I’m not very sure what’s going on with other users though. Thanks for reading my review! 😁

Where are the developers? I have been playing for years and there have been ongoing issues Zynga simply ignores. The game is also stagnant. It lacks new features or anything to keep the game exciting. Here are just a few of the many things that need to be fixed. Apparently Zynga updates this game but what those updates are, are beyond me as they never say what they are. 1). Statistics are wrong: I’ll see a player with certain stats and when I challenge them, their stats show cut in half. (Example - Player John shows 50 words per minute, then if I challenge him, it goes down to 25 words per minute) 2.). My stats are wrong. Apparently my highest scoring word is 3 letters? That hasn’t changed in years. 3.). Customer Support is broken in the app. It basically tells you to force close, update the app, etc. There is no way to contact them in the app. you have to actually look up their email to get a response. I have received responses and have been told they are aware of these issues and they are working on it. Really? For over a year now? If not longer? My next pony is the most frustrating. 4.). Frozen events (like Sunday Mountain King, one on one Wednesday, etc). Just as I stated, they freeze. I completed the Sunday one over an hour ago. It’s stuck and says waiting for 15 more players. It will stay like this until tomorrow. Sometimes I can get a few games in, other times, just one, then it’s stuck like that until the following day. 5.) No new features, stagnant play… daily challenges are always the same… “find words that end in S, find 60 words, finding a word adds time to the clock, etc. How about holiday related events, like around Christmas, find words related to Christmas? How about different themes for players to unlock? The sound effects and music have been the same for years and it’s awful. Updated graphics would be nice too. How about tournaments against other players where no powerups are allowed? Different color boards people can unlock? 6.). TL;DR: The game is fun but multiple bugs and lack of any updates to address them are upsetting. I’m pretty sure this will be ignored though I’ve been told these issues are being addressed… apparently, it takes years to do so.

I have loved playing this game but the reality is that unless you love ads then this game is just garbage. They charge a monthly fee if you want to removed ads which is ridiculous. I paid to remove ads and it did NOT say it was for only 30 days. Yet another money hungry cash grab. Deleting and will not use anymore.

Love this game, but when you play against a bot, you shouldn’t have to wait for the bots to finish against you or each other. It’s annoying to have to wait. It would also be good to make the print a little larger when it comes to the scoring.

Used to be 5 stars, now 2. I’ve been playing this for years but for the past few months I can’t get the games to load in a timely manner. Very disappointing to miss playing, goals and prizes because the game is stuck.

I bought this app yers ago then one it just went away. They wanted me to buy it again. No way. So now I play, not with friends, but with ads

Yes! I love Boggle. I play it every day. But I’ve been noticing some changes to the scoring that I don’t think are quite fair. When I come across someone who uses the “Blaze” for help, I resign after the first round. I don’t use it and won’t use it. This evening, I finished the second round with a player and was trying to figure out how they more than doubled my score. I went looking for the Blazes but there were none. At the very beginning, we both had the word lax. She received 19 points but I got 11. Had there been the Blaze icon, I would have expected that. Then we both played sax. She got 18 to my 10. I am confused.

The game would be great if I didn’t get the same 3 boards almost every single day. I know the words to find by heart. Not very challenging.
