    I used to play this game almost every day if not at least a couple times a week. And I had friends and family and everyone else that I played with online. However when I switched to a new iPhone Air the game stopped working this is the only app I have this problem with. I’ve reached out to support and they’ve yet to fix the issue, but you can’t open up to use the game at all. The app comes up.. it gives you the option to sign in via Facebook, Apple or username or play as a guest no matter which option you select nothing happens as it doesn’t go to another screen it just stays there. The game was working previously on my iPhone 15 plus but not on my iPhone Air.

    I love Words With Friends but I feel like there is way too many adds for me who can’t get the adds free. It’s a little annoying.

    This app is very aggravating. It’s way too many ads to watch. I will uninstalling. Definitely not how it used to be and I’m not paying a monthly fee to remove the ads. Ridiculous!

    I really enjoy this game but the amount of ads is ridiculous after every play regardless of what you’re doing there’s an ad. I just played 8 games and there were 8 ads. I will probably delete the app.

  • Defining words that do not exist

    Today 4-4-26 the word ‘assbag’ was used by the game in a solo challenge and awarded 18 points. There’s no definition anywhere. Hopefully this is a joke.

    Since the upgrade to iOS 26 the game has become unplayable on my (9th generation) iPad. Such a disappointment.

    The latest round of ads, including Kalshi and some casino games, are increasingly and ridiculously burdensome to click past. And when there in an “X” icon to tap, it should close that window, NOT OPEN A NEW POPUP! I suspect these latest ads violate iOS policy.

    Update: 4/2/22. this game Crashes constantly.I have to close the game 50% of the time otherwise I am stuck on an ad that never goes away, or I get a black screen. While I do enjoy this game I find it super frustrating that the rules are very inconsistent. Some towns or countries (Kos) allowed but not all, some abbreviations allowed, but not all, tons of foreign words are approved, but again, not all. And some words, especially that show up when playing against ‘Word’, are just NOT real words. Game crashes quite a bit and freezes which is annoying. Otherwise, its fun. UPDATE: 2/2024…how is it that when I play against your Ai, words that you say ‘aren’t valid words “ are allowed? I have taken numerous screen shots of this. It’s ridiculous. Mzees? Really?? This is beyond cheating! Zooey? Nuts.

    This game used to be fun but suffering through an ad every 10 seconds is ridiculous. You shouldn’t have to spend more time on ads than playing the game. So stupid. Waste of time.
