Love the privacy. Love the personalization page that will help tailor the responses to your needs. I was missing links to the sources used and told Lumo to always provide them, and it works! It’s a bit of a workaround but solve for me. Areas for improvement are the user interface. E.g. the font size is too small for me, the results display is not optimized for a small mobile phone screen, the keyboard doesn’t disappear after the prompt is sent so it blocks you from reading the response, icon and cat theme are not my taste. Also it’s very slow to start and I miss a share button for the results.
  • Really glad Proton did this.

Lumo’s come a long way since it launched. This is an outstanding platform for documents that you don’t want big platforms handling. I’m not going to say it’s as good as Claude for all tasks, and I don’t use it exclusively. But it’s well worth having, and I use it more and more lately.

Can you implement a way to move chats into and between projects? Also, the ability to rename chats would be nice. Also, I was in a chat in a project, went out of the app and came back to it, and the whole chat had didappeared.
  • I love this AI assistant

I’ve used it for a few days. It is incredibly knowledgeable on everything I have needed. what I like so much about it is I get very detailed information in depth. Lumo puts Siri to absolute shame.

gave me the same excuses and invalid answers sources and sites over and over when trying to help me install an os to my spare android causing it to get bricked because it refused to help me after guiding me towards messing up my phone
  • Depends on use case

This is geared towards privacy and security, and as such lacks a lot of what other services offer. Will Lumo fix all my code bugs or organize my email? No. Can it help me research a topic without building a profile on my data and selling it to the highest bidder? Absolutely
  • Slow and Glitchy

I love the concept, but the app is so laggy you can barely type without massive typos, freezing and glitching. It mixes up information. If you give it 2-3 scenarios it can’t stop confusing and jumbling them all. It’s basically unusable which is a shame and I will be cancelling my subscription until it improves. My phone gets red hot when using it which deathly happens.
