  • No Auto Log-In

Great app for the phone, but the safari extension is less than ideal. There is no auto log in feature so I have to re-sign in my long, hand typed passcode every time I start safari.
  • Lacks security

I would love to give this a five star rating, because this is a company that works hard to create good products that don't sell the user's data, but unfortunately Proton Pass on Mac missed the mark. You cannot make a password manager app that just lets you access everything without entering your master password, instead of implementing Touch ID, which is the obvious solution, the app only offers either no locking method at all, or a simple PIN. This is very insecure, and this is THE kind of app that should be very secure.
  • Buggy and does not work at times

I'm beginning to wonder if I made the right decision signing up for their premium service because their products don't seem to work as intended and in the case of this browser extension I often have to restart the extension because it fails to load or doesn't present the sign-in screen.
  • A good start

Passkeys still require a QR code to be scanned, even if the main Mac client is installed. I'd love to see this fixed.
  • Not Ready

Appears to be in the Beta phase, and currently unstable. Would not recommend using with Safari.
  • It only works once

It works fine when you set it up, but whe you close your computer and open again it shows a page to "sing back in" or "sing ou" but the "sing back in" button doesn't work, you have to go to all the processes of setting it up again
  • Good Start!

It's a good start and i am looking forward to the work they are going to continue to do! This first iteration i am seeing that MFA Codes are not fully copying over, hopefully fixing soon!

Haven't used it much yet, since so new. but so far seems very stable and responsive. There is no biometric lock/unlock on the Mac app or extention as the description mentions. only a 6 digit PIN. it also doesnt support passkeys. Overall, I like it so far. has room for improvement and hopefullly it won't take long.
