I use an apple Magic Keyboard, and the app can not rotate the screen to make it useable. Come on now.
  • Bad pdf viewer

The app doesn’t offer much. There’s no roster builder. You can view all team rules, and the lite core rules, but those are also available as PDFs online. And in this app they are presented as cut up pdfs, and it’s a much worse reader than the free adobe app.

I love the app it’s almost perfect! However I wish you could like click on key words and have their definitions pop up. I’m a brand new player and I don’t know a lot of the terms yet and it’s annoying to have to go back and forth in the rules
  • Does exactly what they said.

Free faction rules. Simple, easy to update. Offline friendly. Don’t change it!

It does exactly what it says, and best of all? It’s FREE. Anyone rating this below a 5 needs a privilege check. You can export the pdfs if you don’t like the app, it’s a feature. Stop complaining about features they didn’t say they’d add. Let them make the game, not an app.

Basic? Yes. But I appreciate the fact this information is free, centralized, and relatively well organized. I’m not having to pay for the app, buy a goofy book to get a QR code to see my faction’s info, or being forced to buy physical datacards, and I appreciate that. There are definitely some QoL things that I’d like to see (namely being able to “favorite” a team so it shows up at the top); overall, though, GW deserves kudos for making an effort here. As long as we see some continuous improvement of the app, like we do with the 40K app, and it remains free, I don’t think there is much room to complain.

This app has less features then Wahapedia, this is a “professional” app it should have more stuff. I hope it’s improved later, but I don’t have hope for this.
  • Exactly what it says on the tin.

I’m not sure what exactly people were expecting when they were downloading this app. Since it got announcement GW has said it’s literally just going to be for rules. And that’s what it is. Exactly what I expected. I really like that you get a little bit of the lore for each team, and the inclusion of images of models with weapon labels is great to see too. A couple of minor and I mean MINOR complaints is that I wish that keywords could be selectable and it would tell you what that rule is, rather than having to go back to the lite rules keyword section every time. I would also like if each teams Datacards were in a slightly better order. There are multiple teams where the leader doesn’t appear first, or the like the Inquisition team, are just in a strange order. This app is exactly what it said it was going to be, and delivered on that. As with everything GW, there’s always room for improvement :)

I like this app a lot. All the rules for free for every team is a very nice thing. And even though people want a team builder, I think they forget that Kill is almost always an auto include of every unit besides maybe Death Korp and a few others. In kill team there really isn’t any team builder. Enjoy the app. And if you really want to use a team builder use the online KTDash App to make your teams. Don’t review bomb the app it shows you all the important rules for your team and good lite rules.
  • Simple but does the job exactly and it’s free
