  • App works great

Ignore the really bad rating, people are attacking GW's pricing model, and they have good reason to criticize, but the app itself works very very well. It's just hard for people to emotionally disconnect dissatisfaction with the companies policies and rating the app functionality.
  • Let me buy a code for the rules

The app itself is pretty stellar, but every time it gets updated my heart sinks into the depths of Shyish as more and more rules get taken away from the public. I’m not gonna buy a $60 book that’s not relevant in a year just to get a code to utilize the rules in the app. If my warhammer+ subscription also got me the digital versions of the rules this app would legit be 5 stars, but they keep taking away more and more instead of giving us a reason to engage with it. I wish I could just pay like $10 for a code for the digital rules for a given faction at the very least, but to get access to the rules for your faction you’re looking at a $60 price tag MINIMUM. Unless you’re willing to use wahapedia, I’m a big proponent of 3rd party sources, and this app made me love them even more.
  • Terrible New App

Going from the previous AoS app to this one is a huge downgrade. There’s now a subscription required to even mockup more than one army. Worse in every way…
  • Anti-Consumer Practices

The reason all the warscrolls. (Model data) is behind a pay wall is simple. If you have time to study and buy good models their sales go down. A large portion of their sales come from the fact not every model is good. So people buy models they like, realize they’re bad and have to buy more. $60 dollars per book is not reasonable for rules that change almost monthly. Recommend free resources and only getting books that come in sets/boxes as at least you get models with it.
  • Still a bad idea to gatekeep warscrolls

App's decent, but too paywalled. Warscrolls should be visible for your opponent. It'd evn be free advertisinf for them on your next army!
  • Free version not enough

This should be 100% Free or at the very least a one time purchase.

  • Can't sign in

I can't sign into mywarhammer.com through the app to get the content I purchased. It doesn't allow me to type anything and most of the links cannot be clicked. Please fix this issue, I'd really like to use this app.
  • Functional and easy to use

I use this app every game. Even when my battle tome is sitting right under my phone. It’s quick and easy to use, the search function has come in clutch many times. To get the most out of the app, you do need a Warhammer+ subscription. It’s worth it to me, but your mileage may vary. I collect the battletomes for the army’s I play, and my opponents bring their battletomes for reference, so while I wish there wasn’t a paywall, in the end it doesn’t effect my enjoyment or the game or usefulness of the app.
  • Open Up Profiles for Everyone

For some reason, GW thinks it’s a good idea to keep profiles hidden behind a paywall. Do they not understand that if profiles were open to all, it would only help to encourage players to buy a new army?
