  • Seems pointless

Trying to see how the app even works, and everything is locked content… So I go through the trouble of signing up. And everything is still locked content… Simply trying to learn how to play Warhammer. But I can’t even figure out how to use the dumb app. Seems pointless.

I received an email telling me that I successfully redeemed my black Templars codex, and the app will not let me access it. Customer support has not helped at all either.
  • Fantastic, smooth interface.

Besides having to buy the codexes to unlock information the app works flawlessly. There’s no other app on the market that works as well and fluidly as the official app.

Honestly, the app itself is near fantastic! It’s how it’s managed by the cash grab money hungry GW chooses to base it upon is the real issue. But that’s not the app itself fault. Every singe 40K gamer needs this app.
  • Search function does not work

The button to search does nothing, and therefore is not worth paying for. Other apps do more for free.
  • FIX SEARCH FUNCTION

I’d give this 5 stars if the search function ACTUALLY worked like it does on New Recruit or any other site/ app for that matter.

It charges money for information and services that are poorly delivered. Me and an opponent had many disagreements on how certain rule worked such as melta and the rules for melta were not easily accessible, the weapon stats were not easily visible for example the war dog executioner has two auto cannons but the app only lists it as if it only has one while the data cards and other free army builders show it has two. Overall not worth peoples time or money.
  • Huge Paywall

App works well enough. Requires a subscription to get many features. Also requires physical books to be purchased for each faction. Making it impossible to get access to opponents rules.
  • Pretty good. But needs some things.

Pricing aside cause we all know. The app is pretty good. Works and has a very good ease of use. But it needs somethings. First it’s needs legends support, I shouldn’t have to print my old information for models outdated on the official website to play them. Secondly it needs crusade support, having to use other apps in order to play crusade is not great. They really need to have there own support for crusade at minimum the official ones. Lastly a it’s a small thing. Have a list option for above 3000 points without having that stupid little yellow caution symbol telling me it’s not possible to play. I get it, but I want to play more and can’t stand seeing it.
