  • Good app but missing key features

I would rate this app higher if it could sync inventory and projects across devices. As it stands now I'll probably stick with Google Sheets so that I can access my inventory while on the go.
  • Still Good

The app is older but still holds up but it is pretty basic. I would give a five star for sync between devices and landscape mode on the iPad. I don’t know how difficult that is but if they are still doing updates I hope they see this request.
  • Could be great

Could be great if it showed all areas a color needs to be. Might as well be painting based off the box picture
  • Great app for new painters!

As mentioned in the title, this app is perfect for new painters, especially for warhammer models. You get a good look at the model you choose, it tells you which paint to buy, and even where to put it on the model. My only issue preventing 5 stars was the fact that there are some units here and there that are just missing from the data base. If I would add anything to the app, it would be a 360 degree function to the model painting section, it’d be nice to see the backs of the models I’m painting just to get the correct coloring everywhere instead of having a bit of a guessing game. If not that, then some kind of zoom in/out function to look at fine details more extensively.
  • Needs improvement

There are better apps out there now and this one is seeing its age. Definitely needs improvement. The app does not have a landscape mode for the iPad The app does not sync Projects and paint inventory and wishlists from the iPad to the iPhone and vice versa. The app gives you just one picture of the model. No way to zoom in or view from different angles. The app no longer has a contrast painting guide for models. The app no longer has a contrast guide for colors. The app should links back to videos for each model that has them. The app should have links to techniques to models that use them. It would be nice if there was a color matched, where you could use your camera to look at a color and the app would find the paints closest to it.

I would love it if my paint inventory would sync across devices via the Warhammer account.

I have used this app before for several of my other armies for paint schemes and color finding with good success. I go to pick up some Leagues of Votann and nothing! In the paint by model section for 40k there is not a single Votann model! Have the new Kroot models and everything else thats come out in 10ed but nothing for an entire army thats been out for almost 2 years.
  • Removed contrast paints

They removed the contrast paint list, why wouldn’t you support half your paint line? The info was already there, easy to access, removing it is a terrible idea. One star is too much for this dumb decision.
  • Very Useful

The app makes it easy to track my paints and reference paint colors and schemes. However, I wish there was a way for me to save color combinations I have come up with for future reference.
