Most of the time the info it gives is accurate but there’s been more than a few times it’s listed paints that just make no sense to use. This alongside the limited picture range and the fact it takes forever for an update to be released, this app just isn’t worth it.
  • It’s chugging along

An old app true but still a great source even if it takes forever to update. Yes there are things that need Improvement but do as I did and reach out in a— support. I don’t think they read these comments and some of you have great ideas and QoL that should be standard.
  • Great for beginners

I’m still new to Warhammer (Feb 2025), and this app was super helpful at helping me keep track of my citadel paints and for quick access to many different colour schemes. While the pre-made colours on the app don’t always line up to what’s on the model in the image, it’s still helpful for getting an idea of what you might want. I mean, if you want a super in-depth guide, YouTube has plenty.
  • Sync across devices?

We sign in to the app, so other than tracking us, how about you give us some functionality like syncing projects and paint lists from our phone to tablet?

The app itself is great. They have not updated the Warhammer Community articles and added more painting tutorials even though there is new content on the website. The pre-existing painting tutorials are extremely helpful and have helped me improve my skills greatly. The function where you can search for a color is super useful for getting just the right color. Amazing app but just needs to update the content.

I love the app and considering it is free 5 stars. I do hope GW invests more into it and also promotes it more so they great a return on more sales when more people paint!

When you get the chance, can you put the death Korps killteam in. I’m working off one veteran model reference. Pretty please. Otherwise app works great.
  • Using on the iPad is not a great experience

It’s unfortunate to see that GW is neglecting the ability to use this app on the iPad in landscape mode which I have to imagine a pretty common use case for iPad users most cases including the Magic Keyboard put the iPads in Landscape mode. This app could be a great companion for my painting project but just not useable for me at this point
  • 3/5 middle tier app ok for some things but eh at others

It’s middle tier as in I’ll use it as there not really a better alternative. It’s good at showing you the range of models for a faction and gives a short guide on how they painted it but most of the time it’s not that good of a guide as in not actually showing all the paints they used only the ones used for most parts. Like with models with very low amounts of leather details like pouches or belts and the list won’t show what color they used for it or the colors not really matching what they say it should. Also they are missing a lot of models. They also don’t say really what techniques they used such as repeated glazing or stippling or whatever else.
  • Good app but missing key features

I would rate this app higher if it could sync inventory and projects across devices. As it stands now I'll probably stick with Google Sheets so that I can access my inventory while on the go.
