Your DMN App functioned flawlessly before you attempted to enhance it. Now it is cumbersome.

I don’t like the new app. Very hard to use and can’t print from the app.
  • New App is Far Worse

After years of this app being far and away the worst of all the apps I have, it had steadily gotten better, to the point of being very good. Now, they have changed it entirely, and it is now once again the least user friendly app I have ever seen and experienced. Did they even test this app prior to rolling it out? Jerky, wonky, unreadable are good words to describe this app. Please fix it!

Hate the new format. I’m thinking about canceling subscription.

Not a fan of the new format. Doesn’t have a way to see all pages and select a specific page.

I forget to go to the online paper and read…. so it’s not an automatic part of my day like in the past
  • I HATE the updated App

The updated app that went into effect 4-1-2026 is terrible! The print function doesn’t work. 90% of the time if you tap to read a specific article, it doesn’t work. Makes reading the paper a chore & no longer enjoyable.
  • New online format

I dislike the new for at for epaper. Several things interupt the reading. Having to close banners and re-adjust from regular reading as the newsprint paper from the extended type version is annoying. The magnify is faulty. The continued popup ads are distracting. To put bluntly I hate it. I know my opinion will not matter much, but you should check to see if others are happy with it.

Whose brilliant idea was it to take a very useful app and turn it into a terrible inoperable product. With previous app we were able to print puzzles and other items from that section from iPhone and iPad, but NOT now. Another example of trying to be cutesy and prior useful actions are nonfunctional. Terrible Terrible development
  • Updated iPad App

The hopefully good news. The new app required a new subscription, bringing the cost down from $50 to $15 on the App Store. The news is good only if DMN actually cancels the $50 digital direct subscription. The bad news: the new iPad app is not fully compatible with the Apple keyboard. Specifically, the track pad functionality is very limited. You can’t scroll/change pages anymore. In addition, the type is blurry and hard to read compared to the older version. Definitely a quality downgrade.
