I am ugly crying rn, this game is eerily familiar to my own life, and it hit a note inside me that has me in a full on cry session. Bravo.

I played this game not thinking it would be anything other than a “choices matter” game. That your choices determined the next event and only that. I was not prepared for the twist and struggled to keep my eyes from blinking during the end scenes because I was crying so hard. Beautiful and brilliant game. I would love to see more like this.

Sound didnt work, couldnt hear dialogue, music, etc. Movement is very clunky feeling for a game that requires quick and precise movement. With these issues, i could not get into the story, which is the whole point of games lie this

The story line of this game was so beautiful and an emotional roller coaster. Some parts were a bit challenging such as keeping your eyes open for long periods of time, but the game adapted to how long you could keep your eyes open over time. It was a short game, but beautifully created.

The whole story is beautiful and with the gameplay blends well making you think of this life the protagonist has had and accepting it in the end finding peace.
  • Beautiful and close to home.

I have sickle cell and deal with chronic pain on a day to day basis, I remember going through exactly what Ben was going through. I cried playing this game because I felt seen and heard, it showed me so many perspectives and gave me some hope that things will be alright. This was the most beautiful and touching game I’ve played, thank you to the creator and those who spent time on it. <3

I don’t normally write reviews, but this game was so emotional, and if you’ve been hesitating or debating on whether to download it, then you definitely should! I had a little difficulty with the blinking mechanic (which, however, can be easily turned off), and you should also be aware that there are no save options. There are chapters in which you can select to start playing from a certain part of the story, but it is often not where you last left off, leading you to sit through the same parts more than once, which can be inconvenient. Because of this, I’d recommend you play the whole game (which takes one and a half hours) in one sitting, but other than that, I highly enjoyed it! It has a beautiful narrative that shows both the internal and external struggles that the protagonist—a young boy named Benjamin—faces. It really gets you thinking about your own life and mortality, and that your worth as a person isn’t determined by how much you have or haven’t been able to accomplish (something which Benjamin comes to eventually realize after feeling the need to lie about who he really was), with one of my favorite lines from the end of the game being (‼️SPOILER ALERT‼️) “So when he was going to go, he was okay...because he'd already lived a great life. A full life. And he was everything he needed to be. Just as he was.” That line really spoke to me, and this was the first game in a while to almost make me cry. :,) I could write much more, but this review has already been long enough, and I think that anyone who has read this has got the point, haha.
