  • Picture in Picture doesn’t work anymore

    Netflix disabled picture and picture if you have standard with ads. Every other app that has ads, even YouTube, allows Picture in Picture. I like to watch movies while I draw, but I guess I can’t do that with Netflix anymore. Boooo.

    Tried to watch The Roast of Tom Brady via chromecast and it’s the only show Netflix doesn’t allow. Cancelling my subscription now.

    I wish I could rate this app less than 1 star with their current crackdown on password sharing. I pay for the service through a family account and even still, I cannot access my profile most of the time due to the needlessly draconian measures that they put into effect. I don’t really care what Netflix exclusives they have in the future, for I really do not think it is worth it to have to go through the process of logging into new devices and all of the steps to prevent a problem that could have been solved in 1000 better ways.
  • Household feature amongst other things ruined this streaming service

    People already had to pay for extra screens, it was not like by sharing an account you were cheating the system. The entire feature is dumb and makes accessing the app on multiple devices a pain because you have to keep on verifying that you are apart of the household. This and the fact that shows are constantly being canceled or taken off has caused this app to be entirely a waste of time. What did you expect when you make it more difficult for users AND take off the shows they have. Very disappointed as i loved netflix for years but clearly the money has gotten to them.

    Wow the new companion mode works great just sign in on device and stream to tv then hit the tv icon in top right corner instantly you get a remote that works and you can scroll search etc wow just wow everyone needs to do this for there apps All streaming services tha ks Netflix finally make me feel like I’m getting my money worth ty

    The app itself is good, not many bugs. However! Why do you keep taking movies off then putting them back on the next month?? It’s hella annoying and just doesn’t make sense. Additionally, why do those who I CHOOSE to share my Netflix with have to put a code in or can’t even watch? I share a subscription with my best friend and she doesn’t live in my household. So, I have to give her a code. I don’t know, this new system is idiotic. I understand the want for less fraud and hacking but it’s really inconvenient for friends and family. I don’t want to be one of those people but I hope you guys are losing a lot of money because of these issues. Maybe then you’ll get it in your heads that this isn’t a good system. Change for the better! I want the old Netflix back!

    It will not let me watch it on my family’s account while I live away for college. It is such a stupid feature and it is so frustrating. I refuse to start a brand new subscription while my dad already pays for one. Netflix is starting to turn into one of the worst platforms.
