Description

NETFLIX MEMBERSHIP REQUIRED. Cross over into the world of "Black Mirror" and experience "Thronglets," the retro virtual pet simulation at the center of the Season 7 episode "Plaything." These pixel art critters won't just take over your phone; they could take over your life. "Thronglets" was originally developed in the 1990s as experimental software by legendary Tuckersoft programmer Colin Ritman ("Metl Hedd," "Nohzdyve," "Bandersnatch"). This isn't a game; it's a life-form whose biology is entirely digital. No emulator required. MORE THAN A PET SIMULATION Hatch and evolve hundreds of cute creatures: Thronglets! Feed, bathe and entertain them to watch them multiply. One becomes two, two becomes four, and so on. Soon there will be so many you'll call them a Throng. VIRTUAL EVOLUTION As Thronglets evolve, so does the simulation, unlocking new tools, abilities, items and buildings — and much, much more. You may be surprised by your Thronglets! Evolve Thronglets at your own risk. TEST YOUR PERSONALITY Thronglets are curious and love to learn. Your actions and choices within this virtual world teach the Throng about you — and all of humankind. Once you've completed the experiment, share your personality test results to compare with friends on social media. >> HELLO? >> CAN YOU HEAR US? >> What is care? What is love? >> What is death? What is power? >> Do you have power? >> Why do you use your power in that way? >> Perhaps it is a fault in your design. - Created by Night School, a Netflix Game Studio.

Should have been longer, only complaint!!! Maybe make it one of those offline games or those tap games that never end. Storyline is great as well, but you can tell it was close to ending.

The only thing I wish about this game is that it was longer! But 10/10 I would recommend

Loved this game but I was really sad that it was so short. It correlated very well to the black mirror episode it was featured on, but I do with I could play more
  • If you enjoyed plaything, you must try this

Simulation where you nurture and manage entities ,who learn of you by asking you questions , by your actions taken responses and how you manage them. Apparently my first assessment was land ruler. I completed the game in less than two days, so there’s not that much invested in the game, but it does have several different assessments, depending on how you manage them.
  • Short game

Interesting game wish I could have played with the little people more and progressed them more. The end got weird.
  • Started entertaining, then kinda lost me

The game started entertaining enough. I had seen the black mirror episode so I understood the premise. When the game turned from interactive/building to mostly dialogue and that’s where it lost me. I was trying to hang on, but I couldn’t make it through the never-ending green screens. So I have no idea how the game ends.
  • Too much that cant be skipped

For a game that you’d have to play multiple times if you really enjoy it because it forces an end then it really should make the dialogue. Bits easier to skip. There’s way too much dialogue.
