I've been playing for almost a year and have been subscribing to the monthly card for half a year, but I only have 4 Shiny Pokemon!? I don't understand why the probability of the flash was set so low!?

Here’s the thing I’ve never written a review before for an app, but bruh I gotta share. This seemed sort of just like a fun and different app I could use to track my sleep, one that is more interesting and exciting to use. They decided to make it a game plus sleep tracker app, Pokémon go gets you walking, this gets you sleeping. Except the problem there is I don’t care to use this as a game, but it doesn’t let you just track your sleep when you want. I opened it tonight to just start tracking my sleep and got stuck in a new part of the game portion. Which brings me to the next issue, the fact that apparantly none of the game content actually gets downloaded when you download the app. Every time it wants you to do a new section (unavoidable) it prompts to download more content over the app which takes forever. Come on be real. I’m still going to use it and it would be 2.5 instead of just 2 stars but it doesn’t seem like I can do halves.
  • Wish I could like this game but I don’t.

Update July 23, 2025: I had my phone plugged in and I left it unlocked, as per the app’s requirements. It did NOT register me with accurate sleep data. It said I went to sleep at 1:50am and that I got up at 5:05am. Anyone who knows me knows that I DO NOT get up early!! I sent the pokemon to sleep at my regular sleep time of midnight and I got up at 7:00am. I have a screenshot showing the app with my pokemon still asleep at 7am!!! What the heck is the point of this game? Is it because there are bonuses going on? Is this rigged against me?!?! Well forget it, app. I’m locking my phone tonight. If you can’t abide by your own requirements, why should I??? —- While it’s cute to think of pokemon watching you while you sleep, this app has issues, and I mean ISSUES. Here they are, IMHO: 1) If you leave your phone unlocked as the game requests, your apple watch will NOT sync with your phone with regards to alarms. My phone’s alarms will sound but they won’t sound on my watch. I need the vibrations on my watch to wake me up. With that, I leave my phone LOCKED so my watch wakes me up. 2) I have not seen any new pokemon in the last three weeks. Every day I wake up and there’s the same old pokemon in the same old sleep positions. This has happend whether I have my phone locked or unlocked. In addition to that, it’s rare if any of them are hungry. 3) No new food recipes are showing up. Plus this morning the auto-cook only used 7 ingredients for breakfast!!! Only SEVEN! I’d clicked okay way too fast out of habit, otherwise I’d have made my own ingredient selections. That meal didn’t even crack 1,000 points. 4) There are NO guides for how to use this game. I’m new, only a few months in, and I have no idea how to judge if my pokemon are good or not. At least pokemon go has a superior to let you know via appraisal. Plus how do you get new recipes??? 5) I cannot stand how the app zooms in on snorlax after I zoom out to see more of the view I detest the zoomed in view. I get that snorlax is the star of the game, but I actually don’t like snorlax, so I don’t like how the app zooms in like that. Plus the zooming in really triggers my claustrophobia, which triggers anxiety. This game is supposed to be relaxing, but it’s actually kind of stress inducing. I’m still using it because I’ve done my best to keep the image zoomed OUT as much as possible. Please have a setting where it doesn’t auto zoom IN. 6) Way too hard to set up how you sleep so certain pokemon will appear. I finally had an absol appear - one of my favorite pokemon!! - and the pokemon was not hungry and got full before I even got three pips into the progress bar. I was devastated. I keep seeing pokemon I don’t want appearing, and it’s nigh on impossible to get a shiny pokemon. Maybe if there was an incense to have shinies appear? Perks? I like seeing some of my favorite pokemon in cute sleeping positions. I like seeing the animations of them going across the screen to “look” for berries. Finally: It would be nice if these issues were addressed, but I’m not going to hold my breath.

I love it it's perfect and I got a lot of evees to evolve from but I think the Candy's should be more from the Pokemon than just 2 It would be better for evolving and easier for me to focus on my other Pokemon after I evolve all my evees Ps. I'm obsessed with all eveeloutions ❤️
