Description

Team up and take down the opposition in Pokémon’s first 5-on-5 strategic team battle game! Join Trainers from around the world as they head for Aeos Island to compete in Unite Battles! In Unite Battles, Trainers face off in 5-on-5 team battles to see who can score the most points within the allotted time. Teamwork is key as you and your teammates defeat wild Pokémon, level up, evolve your own Pokémon, and work to prevent the opposing team from scoring points. Put your teamwork to the test, and take home the win! Key Features: • BATTLE IN STYLE: Take to the field while looking your best in Holowear! Thanks to a special technology developed using Aeos energy, Trainers can deck out their Pokémon in a variety of holographic outfits—with new styles arriving regularly! • UNITE MOVES: Unleash the true power of your Pokémon with Unite Moves! Leverage these all-new Pokémon moves, which are only possible while in Unite Battles, and turn the tide of even the direst situations. • RANK UP: Looking to prove how skilled you are? Participate in ranked matches, and earn points as you climb up the global leaderboard! • COMMUNICATION IS KEY: Even the most-skilled Trainers recognize how important communication is to their team’s success. Leverage signals, quick-chat messages, and—for the first time in a Pokémon title—voice chat to communicate and stay in sync with your team. • CROSS-PLATFORM PLAY: Challenge Trainers from around the world to Unite Battles on the Nintendo Switch™ system or on a compatible mobile device thanks to cross-platform support. Trainers may use their Pokémon Trainer Club account or Nintendo Account on both Nintendo Switch and mobile to easily keep their progress synced between devices. I actually thought this game was decent, at least until I figured out its true colors. Firstly, if the DEVs even cared about their players, they would’ve added all the Pokémon right off the bat instead of releasing them 1 by 1. The only reason they didn’t do that was so that they could grab some cash. They always release the newest, most popular Pokémon, and then they make it super broken and OP just so that they can make a fast deal with the players buying Holowear and other in-game products for that Pokémon. Plus, you can’t actually buy the Pokémon for free until one week has passed, which forces impatient players to spend money on the new add-in so they can play it immediately. This makes the game terribly unbalanced and extremely difficult to play. Secondly, P2W players always have an extreme advantage over F2P players because they’re willing to spend hundreds of dollars a day on the game. For example, the battle passes the DEVs release are P2W (like everything else in the game). There are levels that you have to complete by playing battles and finishing daily and weekly tasks. There are up to 200 levels per battle pass, the first 100 being the levels for the Holowear and the second 100 being optional. Every battle pass costs about eight dollars to get, that is, if you decide to get the version that ISN’T premium. That doesn’t sound that bad, right? …Until you realize you have to play the game literally every single day if you actually want to get the Holowear without spending over 100 dollars. If you’re only allowed to play on certain days of the week like I am, that forces you to pay money so you can speed through the battle pass levels and obtain the special Holowear. The DEVs reward you for speeding through by giving you special stat bonuses that F2P players can’t get. Plus, the premium gives you 20 extra levels which encourages you to buy it instead of the normal, less-expensive one. Also, the DEVs will spam you losses the less money you spend, which is just as distorted as the rest of the game. Personally, I enjoy playing as Leafeon, but it’s really hard to claim victory with the game twisting the win rate like it always does! Basically, a Pokémon’s true potential in this game is always hidden behind an endless cash wall that seemingly never comes down. So, in conclusion, if you’re F2P, don’t get this game!

This shouldn’t be happening this much. Can’t be my hardware iPhone 15 pro max is fine, the game just freezes constantly or crashes all together.
  • Great game, but with limitations.

I absolutely love this game, but it lacks controller support, which makes it really hard to play on mobile. Please update to support third-party controllers in the future.

Imagine if you were a diamond soloq in League of Legends and you are constantly placed in a team with 4 irons against 5 platinums. This is what happens to high rank soloq players in this game.
