    Communication errors, app freezes, having to sit through trade animations when previous titles have given us the option to turn them off entirely. The trade rooms almost never work, getting constantly kicked out. Sorting your Pokémon is tedious, and half of the app’s usability is on the Switch version. Some of the incentives for special reward Pokémon are extraordinary. I just wish the Pokémon company dedicated themselves to giving players a high quality experience instead of a bare minimum one. I’ve used this across multiple android and Apple devices with the same issues every time- when is this stuff actually going to be fixed?

    lazy and stupid most days it doesn’t work. Even after sending reports they do nothing how lazy hire people who can do the job right gets annoying after so many years!!! It still freezes up often how lazy!!! Still won’t run again come on fix this simple bug it’s been years!!!

    If they took 30 minutes to allow people to filter out impossible trades (or preferably make them not postable) and put in an auto-sort function it would be a great and useful app. The fact that they didn’t proves they never cared about this app or any of us shmucks to tried to use it.

  • Phenomenal for Cross Gen Collecting but GTS

    This app does a great job of letting you move moms between games/saves. It’s awesome for mass release tricks when breeding too. But the Global Trade System is flooded with trolls. The listing for Pokemon are filled with impossible trades that make you scroll for ages. It’s hard to find viable trades. And if you need to do multiple trades to acquire what you’re looking for - there’s no way to pin or save trade offers you’ve seen.

    I love pokemon home! The GTS is cool for getting pokemon I don’t have. And It’s nice for transferring my pokemon between games!!! Especially for shinys. But… I wish I could search for shinys in the GTS. It would make it soooo much easier. And I’m sad because it connects to Pokemon AZ in 2026 :(. But otherwise, I love it!

    As a long time fan of the franchise, I was excited to try this app for the first time. It’s a nice place to store all of your favorite Pokémon and to trade. The app has come a long way with its updates and it’s a must for any die-hard fan.
