When it tells you to go faster at a certain point you just go slower and it thinks it’s the right speed going too fast makes it lose track of your toothbrush or think that you’re going to slow and if you’re gums bleed or hurt you probably have not been taking care of them properly or you need to brush slower if it cannot see your face you should make the space brighter or make sure that there is only one person in the room. It is so fun but the reason why I put 2 stars is because it gets so boring I played it for 1 month and I still got all the Pokémon, make shiny or more awards or more Pokémon just do something! Would recommend but after a while it becomes just a brushing app not a fun one.

So, this app was great until I updated it on 10/12/25 and I know I was brushing my teeth right and I still lost the Pokémon. So, plz fix.

  • Lots of Potential But Needs Fixes

The app has great potentials. My 2 YO looks forward to brushing her teeth and will actually allow us to do a good quality 2 minute brush for her twice a day. The only problem is, we’ve been having difficulties in our last 5 brushing sessions. The app kept saying it couldn’t see our bright orange toothbrush and kept telling us to brush faster, opposite to how you’re supposed to brush. We failed to catch any Pokémons in our last 5 attempts even though we couldn’t have brushed any better (I’m a dentist for god’s sake)! Would have been 5-star if it wasn’t for these unnecessary/unreasonable requirements/demands.
  • Latest update has broken the app

My 3 year old LOVES “Pokémon Brushies” but since the update 2 days ago, it’s stopped registering him as brushing his teeth and won’t let him catch any Pokémon.

We used to love this app! Was working ok until recent required update, which now no longer can tell my kid is brushing (even when he very much is brushing quickly, it keeps saying to brush faster!) I am not looking forward to all the temper tantrums that will ensue when we don’t catch these PokeMon that used to be consistently catchable until today…
  • It’s about time for an update

It’s been 3 years since the last update with any new Pokémon. I think it’s about time, considering you can collect all the Pokémon available in a very short time. My son has collecting the same set of Pokémon for the last 2-3 years now, over and over. Please update it. We used to love this and got excited finding new Pokémon, which made him excited to brush his teeth. But now it’s not exciting and hasn’t been for years. It’s such a good idea too, and there are sooo many Pokémon that you could have endless updates, so it shouldn’t be hard. Also doesn’t make sense, it says he doesn’t have all of the hats, missing about 4 of them. Yet, he has done everything available over and over multiple times. If you want to keep people using this, stop only doing bug fixes and keep your brushing game worth using.
  • This App Changed Our Relationship with Teeth Brushing

Teeth brushing has been a struggle for my little ones. Doing it long enough, doing it good enough. We’ve had this app for 2 weeks and it’s a night and day difference. Brushing their teeth twice a day for 2 minutes is one of their favorite things, and they earn playing the game by flossing good first. I’m a massive fan.

My kids love this app and have been using it for years now the only problem is that the app breaks once you’ve caught all the Pokémon. Now there’s some regions that are still not unlocked like Paldea isn’t there and there’s also a lack of shiny in the app as well. So it seems to me like this could be easily solved,But nonetheless sad to say I had to find a new toothbrushing app for my kids because this one does not work anymore, and my kid feels bad about restarting.
