Description

Get the people-first browser that’s backed by a non-profit. It’s a new era in tech. Don’t settle for a browser produced by giant, profit-driven, data-hoarding tech companies. Firefox is the obvious choice for independent, ethical tech that respects your privacy and gives you more ways than ever to tailor your internet experience exactly the way you want it. Download Firefox now for iPhone, iPad and Mac. Firefox is backed by the non-profit Mozilla Foundation, whose mission is to ensure the internet remains a global public resource, open and accessible to everyone. When you make Firefox your go-to, everyday browser, you’re also joining a unique (serious nerd cred) community that’s actively helping to diversify the way people experience the internet. Firefox is extremely private for a reason — and the reason is you. We want you to have an amazing experience every time you use Firefox. We know feeling safe and secure are foundational for enjoying your time online. Since version 1 in 2004, we’ve taken privacy seriously, because we’ve always been in the business of valuing people first, over everything. When you care more about people than profits, privacy naturally becomes a top priority. DIFFERENT DEVICES. SAME TRAIN OF THOUGHT Now you can search for things on your laptop, then pick up the exact same search on your phone and vice versa. Your Firefox homepage displays the most recent searches you’ve done on other devices so you can easily get back to what you were doing or thinking about. LIMITED-EDITION WALLPAPERS Introducing limited-edition wallpapers from independent creators. Stick with one you love or switch it up anytime to make Firefox match your mood. STREAMLINED HOME SCREEN Pick up right where you left off. See all your open tabs intuitively grouped and displayed along with your recent bookmarks, top sites and popular articles recommended by Pocket. PRIVACY CONTROL IN ALL THE RIGHT PLACES Firefox gives you greater privacy protection while you’re on the web. By default, Firefox blocks trackers and scripts such as social media trackers, cross-site cookie trackers, cryptominers and fingerprinters. In addition to Apple’s Intelligent Tracking Prevention, setting Firefox’s Enhanced Tracking Protection to strict blocks tracking content in all windows. Also, you can easily choose to search in private browsing mode. And when you close private browsing mode, your browsing history and any cookies are automatically erased from your device. GET FIREFOX ON ALL YOUR DEVICES Add Firefox across your devices for secure, seamless browsing. In addition to synced tabs and searches, Firefox makes password management easy by remembering your passwords across devices. FIND IT FAST WITH FIREFOX’S SEARCH BAR Get search suggestions in the search bar and quickly access the sites you visit most. Type in your search question and get suggested and previously searched results across your favorite search engines. ORGANIZE YOUR TABS THE WAY YOU LIKE Create as many tabs as you like without losing track. Firefox displays your open tabs as thumbnails and numbered tabs, making it easy to find what you want quickly. SHARE ANYTHING IN A FEW TAPS The Firefox web browser makes it easy to share links to web pages or specific items on a page with easy, quick access to your most recently used apps. Best browser on iOS. But can we get a choice to have the dark icon back?
  • Fix it.

The app keeps crashing when using Private Browsing and website data has already been cleared. It keeps logging me out when I haven’t closed anything. The tabs keep refreshing. Also, whenever a page refreshes, it messes with the browsing history of the tab it’s on. The tabs are not displaying the correct page names.

Firefox is amazing. It functions well, it never crashes, renders everything appropriately. Stop giving your data to Google so they can sell it and make personalized and targeted ads. Google uses all your Chrome data (even in incognito mode) to third parties. Remember, Google is not a tech company, or a browser company, but instead and advertising company. Stop giving them your information on a silver platter, please!

For fox is amazing!! The only browser not backed up by a billionaire! Thank you Firefox for being for the people
  • Inferior to every other Firefox

Mozilla has let this version languish in comparison to Android and desktop versions. They try to blame Apple for how low quality Firefox is, but Orion Browser exists and shoves Firefox into a locker and takes its lunch money. Mozilla would rather waste time chasing “AI” LLM trash instead of fixing their core products. They suggest going to Connect to provide feedback, but they actively remove posts that don’t support their blind trendchasing. Bad software produced by a bad company.
  • Icon Background- no choice!

What happened to the dark background of the icon? It doesn’t look like there is a way to choose either in the menu. Please bring it back as an option at least!
  • Do NOT like the update

Updated to 135.2, didn't know it would screw with a lot of settings and get more invasive and start pestering me about setting as the default browser. My liege, you are FIREFOX. Your competitors are google and microsoft. ALL you ever have to do is stay consistent and not change. JUST DON'T CHANGE! STOP! You are snatching defeat from the jaws of victory. Gah.

After the latest update the Home Screen icon is white. What happened? I prefer the black background.

I have been a Firefox user since I was just 5 years old when my dad first introduced me to it . My love for Firefox 🦊has only grown over the years, and I now use it on my PC and as often as possible. Firefox as a mobile browser is nothing short of impressive. Its user-friendly interface, seamless syncing across devices, and robust privacy features make it an excellent choice for anyone who values both performance and security ‼️Firefox Focus is also my go to browser for privacy, ensuring my online activities remain private and secure. However, the one aspect I find disappointing is the inability to add extensions on iOS . Unlike Safari, which allows extensions, Firefox does not support this feature on iOS. I don't believe this is a Mozilla issue; it's more likely due to Apple's restrictions. Despite this limitation, Firefox remains my top choice for both desktop and mobile browsing. I highly recommend it to anyone seeking a reliable and feature-rich browser. Ps Thanks if you have read my entire comment, tech has always been my thing, that’s what I am going to school for/ work in. :) And ofc my search engine is DuckDuckGo because google data mines to much 😁.
