Description

Use Firefox Focus for everything you want to keep separate from your main browser — for all those get in get out and forget about it moments. No tabs, no fuss, no muss. Block ads and online trackers too. One tap, and your browsing history is completely destroyed. Blocking distracting ads also means faster page loads which means Focus gets you where you want to go a lot faster. Firefox Focus is the perfect get in/get out, search and destroy, I’m on a mission that’s none-of-your-business — web browser. NEW DISTRACTION-FREE DESIGN When you open Focus, you just get the awesome bar and the keyboard for super quick searching. That’s it. No recent history, no past sites, no open tabs, no ads, no distractions. Just a simple, minimal design with menus that make sense. ONE TAP TO DELETE HISTORY Erase your history, passwords and cookies with just a tap of the trash button. CREATE SHORTCUTS Pin up to four shortcuts on your home screen. Get to your favorite site even quicker without typing anything. FASTER BROWSING WITH AD BLOCKING & TRACKING PROTECTION Firefox Focus blocks many ads you’d normally see on web pages so you get much faster page load speeds, which means you get to the stuff you want a lot faster. Focus also blocks a wide range of trackers by default, including social trackers and those sticky ones that come from things like Facebook ads. BACKED BY A NON-PROFIT Firefox Focus is backed by Mozilla, the non-profit that fights for your rights on the web, so you can trust it not to sell your data. Great browser! It would be even better if it supported another row or two of shortcuts.

Been using the app since inception and have enjoyed every step toward Ultimate. My browser is usually Firefox, but there are times when less is Best. I feel very safe and protected using Focus, and look forward to another year of upgrades to a mighty privacy app. Many thanks!

This is literally the best thing on the AppStore. This is how I watch YouTube (I just use the official YT app for notifications)

Would be a much better app if it allowed you to zoom in or out, preferably without having to go to a Settings menu. Also nice would be: - Everything you type into the address bar doesn't get lost after an interruption, such as an alert. - Multiple tabs, that remember where you left off (if you want), like Safari private mode, and no sharing of cookies between tabs. -More than four bookmarks This app is handy for quick one-off sessions, but also as a landing site or sandbox (default browser) for clicking on email links without inadvertently exposing them to Safari non-private mode. Alternatively, a pop-up menu option to "open in Safari" would be handy, rather than having to copy/paste the link. (IIRC, Firefox had this option until 2 or 3 years ago.)

I’ve been using more and just set it as my default since my safari seems to have been so slow at loading like I’m on dial up. So this guy is quick and to the point keeps the cache cleaned. No problems opening any pages as of yet. My sis is sending me links all the time and this opens any instantly whereas my Safari sits loading so very slow.
  • Top notch browser!

Can’t beat the anti tracking features. I’ve used no other browsers since the earliest release of Firefox! Spam calls are null! Even on Droid…Well, TOR. But it’s rather slow.
  • Privacy good, some annoying features
