  • Loving it but one little problem

No updates? Since the special fortune cookies are now easier to get as you don’t have to spend money on leaf tokens, why remove the aspect of HH where you make use of it? It would be fun doing them now unlike in the old version where it was nearly impossible without spending money.

I think this is such a great update to the original game. All content is unlocked and I can play leisurely. There are so many benefits to the paid app. The only reason I’m missing one star is that I think we should be able to trade bells for leaf tokens more than 5 times per month. Obviously with the pay to play we could in theory trade real money an unlimited amount of times for leaf tickets. Now that all features are unlocked I understand having some limitations but 5 times per month isn’t enough.

I have been playing animal crossing since October 15th, 2020 with animal crossing new horizons, and I got addicted to the game. A few months later, I found the free version of this game on the App Store and I got it and I absolutely enjoyed it. However, I did not like the leaf tickets because they were micro transactions. I like this version better and I’ve been enjoying it a lot more. Thank you for making my childhood Nintendo.

This game is obviously the same as the original game but they fixed a ton of stupid things in it for example, instead of the pay to win leaf ticket system you now have leaf tokens which you get for leaving up and doing quests. They did remove the market box but you don’t need to wait to sell your items you can do it from your inventory quickly and easily. The 20$ is worth it for the amount of content you get. My only recommendations would be, new stretch goals, expand your campsite (and allow more animals on the larger campsite) and adding more islands or camps like what about a island that’s dedicated only to fruit and just has a ton of trees! But great game even though it’s kinda copy and paste good job Nintendo

i think some new content like being able to recolor some furniture and wall/ceiling decor would be amazing like in the new horizons game and happy home designer game, and please bring back being able to share event bugs and gifts and the friend market place, and display photos that we could interact with stickers, i miss being able to interact with other players and please make crafting not take as long it takes like 4-24+ hours to craft most things and i wish the materials were easier to get like the sparkle stones and times materials their really hard to get and you need them for almost all the furniture that comes back and without the materials it costs a bunch of leaf tickets to get the item

  • Perfect way to get rid of micro transactions!

Making the game a one-time payment is the perfect alternative to micro transactions. It was hard to buy enough leaf tickets to actually do anything in the game before the idea of transferring bells to leaf tokens (the new in-game currency) is a much better way and makes the game feel more like a game instead of a demo that you need to pay to keep playing. Amazing rework of the game and great way to continue supporting an old game.
  • I don’t like it

I bought this thinking it would at least resemble New Horizons but it doesn’t absolutely nothing is the same. I can’t figure out how to play and the tutorial is so long I wish I could skip it so I can figure out how to play. There is no save button so if you leave the game sometimes it starts back at where you opened it at. It’s also super zoomed in I hate that I wish there was an option to zoom out. Idk it’s just making me mad if you’re use to the way things are in new horizons don’t get this game
  • Social features

This game has severely downgraded since the original free version. It feels pointless to even open the app at all because there’s barely anything you can do now. Without the old social features, it feels lonely, boring, and incredibly repetitive. If you used to play the old version, please do not buy Complete. It’s basically a game full of ghosts. Animal Crossing developers, please please bring back the same social features we used to have. So many people miss them, and they would make your game much more entertaining, causing more people to want to play and earning you more money. Thanks for coming to my Ted talk.
  • Fun but flaws in this version

There is no way to get friend power in this version and where are the other visiting players? They removed that feature. You can’t share creatures in other players gardens, visit their campsites, or buy things at their personal market anymore. The huge flaw as well is that there is absolutely no way to obtain friendship power. It’s fun other than that - I wish there were more mini games throughout the game rather that the repetitiveness of just completing tasks and the same series of seasonal events.
