Description

Nintendo's hit strategy-RPG Fire Emblem series, which has been going strong for more than 30 years, continues its journey on smart devices. Fight battles customized for touch screens and on-the-go play. Summon characters from across the Fire Emblem universe. Develop your Heroes' skills, and take them to new heights. This is your adventure—a Fire Emblem that's like nothing you've seen before! This application is free to download and offers some optional in-app purchases. ■ An epic quest The game features an ongoing, original story where new characters and dozens upon dozens of battle-tested Heroes from across the Fire Emblem universe meet. There are over 2,400 story stages available as of August 2024! (This total includes all difficulty modes.) Clear these story stages and you'll earn Orbs, which are used for summoning Heroes. New story chapters are added frequently, so don't miss out! ■ Intense battles Take part in strategic turn-based battles streamlined for on-the-go play with maps that fit in the palm of your hand! You'll need to think hard about the advantages and disadvantages of each Hero's weapon...and even evaluate the map itself as you battle. Lead your army with easy touch-and-drag controls, including the ability to attack by simply swiping an ally over an enemy. New to strategic turn-based battles? Don't worry! Use the Auto-Battle option to have your characters fight on their own. ■ Strengthen your favorite Heroes There are many ways to strengthen your allies: leveling, skills, weapons, equipable items, and more. Take your characters to greater and greater heights as you battle for victory. ■ Replayable modes In addition to the main story, there are many other modes where you can strengthen your allies, compete against other players, and more. ■ Original characters meet legendary Heroes The game features numerous Hero characters from the Fire Emblem series and brand-new characters created by artists Yusuke Kozaki, Shigeki Maeshima, and Yoshiku. Some Heroes will fight at your side as allies, while others may stand in your way as fierce enemies to be defeated and added to your army. * Internet connectivity required to play. This game is very fun but complex, see title for more details. A large part of the game mechanics are unexplained and this that are usually have you staring down a wall of text longer than a master’s thesis. I still don’t know what stats actually do and I’ve been playing for years. Here is my advice to new players get Felix the sword saint and give him some form of aoe special this negates most powercreep. Overall a very fun game with lots of strategy. It’s like raid shadow legends without the rampant and suffocating capitalism. I’m a free to play player and I have gotten very far.

This game used to be so incredibly good, but now it has devolved into a power creep nightmare. Nothing makes sense, new characters and old characters are useless, and if you intend to play online against others, just be ready for the most one sided and infuriating experience because you will be fighting against pay to win A-holes.
  • Powercreep, Rates and less spark opportunities…

The powercreep has been going crazy lately and when it was skill power creep that can be shared with other units you’ve built up, but lately it’s been unit exclusive powercreep, which is escalating how fast you need to update your teams with some being so overwhelming you just end up in no win situations. It is poorly balanced at the moment. Lately something feels off on the rates as well, like repeats of the same characters over and over which statistically shouldn’t happen. It’ll say your rate is high 12% or more which is already bad to reach that point and it still won’t drop 5*s. At this point it feels less like bad luck and more like a bug. Hopefully, they quit trying to speed run power creeping skills that just released and making near invincible units just to try to sell the solution. Overall, as for the game it doesn’t have much story, but it’s nice to see when the build on existing characters from the franchise lore. The game did feel like a solid 8.0 out of 10 more often than not, but lately stagnant gameplay, powercreep every banner (bad kind), coupled with the rates feeling off and a lack of expanded story, it’s a solid 6.5 out of 10 and dropping unfortunately. The competitive modes feel cookie cutter everyone running the same teams that’s how bad it is, and I’m ranked Great Summoner (their Arena highest tier) and T-39 in Aether Raids (their PVP map mode) as well as high placing in Summoner Duels. Over all it seems down hill at the moment and I’ll likely do the minimum for a while and hope they fix whatever they’ve broken sooner rather than later. My advice play, grind the story out, get the free orbs and hoard until you see a character you like. Don’t spend any money outside good bundles if that period. It’s your money, but play and spend responsibly if you do.

  • Missing Hero’s

Why am I missing hero’s in my Ally tab, like I just lost all of my progress that I put into them, and if that’s how this game works then I’m done playing a game where you just lose you high level characters that took time and effort just for nothing

I started Fire Emblems with Fire Emblem Engage, and the graphics certainly don’t disappoint. The game is also just amazing in general, though you will be tempted to spend money.
