Timeline Up!

Timeline Up was great until… they’ve put out a recent nerf to damage for all players which made it practically impossible to advance on any level. I’ve spent over 500 energy to only make it a through half of the FIRST ERA. It’s bogus, prior to the update I was able to gradually cruise through the entire timeline & that I didn’t mind buying some extra energy if needed. They consistently answer their support system with “The players are heard and there will be future updates/game content released to help”. It has been months since the RUNES said “coming soon”. Unable to upgrade pets efficiently since there are only a few options to get the food (mostly purchases). Now at this point, they’re forcing you to buy more things along with their weekly race passes if you want to try and climb. Customer support doesn’t care about the player base, they will toss you 10-20k diamonds and a little energy as “hush money” and go about their day. It doesn’t help you in any bit advance as they may think. The developers are embarrassing and just want to force people into spending more money by altering the functionality of the game.

Plays ads every 5 seconds even when you say you don’t want to play the ad

This game was fun until I found out how many people pay to win. It’s not even about skill. The race is specifically a pay wall and you’ll get the worst rewards that’s it’s about as good as doing one race to get the gems. Beyond that you’ll never place above 15 because people pay an enormous amount of money to be in the top 15 (which offer the better rewards). Everything demands money! The extra pet, the extra champion w:the extra gifts, extra slot for talents, extra gifts for the race. The champions take so long to level up because they barely give you anything to level up with, the free fists are so weak in comparison to the paid gifts. For example you get 5 points in the race but you get 25 points if you paid. At least make it 10. Then they decide to do a VIP to get more money. You already pay for no ads that do go away but you still have to watch ads for extra money or free things. The VIP should be permanent buys it’s only good for 30 days. It would cost around $58 to pay monthly . So you’re paying over $600 per year on a game! That’s not including if you decide to buy more energy (which you can tell people do) so without money you’ll never be on top. If you play leisurely and want to pass time it’s a fun game. If you want to get good gifts. Don’t expect it within 5 months. You’ll be saving for it for awhile because the points in the race are just pathetic. I hate games that don’t give you a skill challenge. It’s annoying because you can’t truly see what you’ve done. You’ll always lose.

Been playing this game for 6 months or so and progressed pretty far into it. Unlocked all champions and leveled them up to 7+. Since this update, I’ve been stuck in the same timeline (last era)for almost a month. Devs need to fix this scaling issue asap if they want to keep consistent daily players.

You make an entire playable ad, with “AD FREE” at the bottom, but there’s ads? Every time i finish the level, win or die i get an ad. If you’re going to put “ad free” on the ad that made me download it, just for me to open the game and see “made by rollic games” you might as well just not make an ad

Energy based system where it takes an hour to replenish energy. Couldn’t think of any other ways to get people to purchase things, like adding upgrades or other cool features. Lol

This game is fun but energy reloads once every 40 minutes which is crazy so unless you wanna spend a bunch of money you can only play for like 5 minutes every few hours
