Color Block Jam

This is a great game and it’s been my go-to for the last month or two, but I’ve hit a snag that kinda frustrates me at level 404. A new mechanic has just been introduced that has repeatedly soft locked me. Basically the color gates change color every time a block goes through, but there’s no way to strategize beyond that, so I’ve lost my Pilot’s Drop progress all because I sent the wrong red block through the gate or the wrong teal block through the gate and end up in a stalemate game pretty much. So either the level needs to be changed or the mechanic does, in my opinion, because otherwise how is that fair. It’s beatable after enough trial and error, sure, but I’m trying to keep my Pilot’s Drop which can be a huge aid in clearing levels. Also please stop changing the app icon—it was perfect as just the yellow block tile. Despite all this, again, I do love the game :)

Love the game, but there are a lot of negatives. The puzzles are challenging but doable, they definitely get me thinking. They’re doable EXCEPT when the timers are so short you have to move at super sonic speed to move the blocks, which happens way more than it should. Not enough coins are awarded. You give me a super hard or hard level to complete, but I get the same reward as a green level. The cost for boosters and extra time are way too high considering you can only get up to 80 coins per level. Also, you’re given 2 options, collect 40 coins or watch an ad to collect 80. You click 40 thinking no ad, but joke’s on you, you still have to deal with an ad. It may be skippable sooner, but still an ad when they make it seem like you’ll avoid the ad by taking half the coins. The canyon challenge is fine, but having to beat 7 puzzles in a row is almost impossible when they make the timers so short for a lot of levels. Plus whenever I do complete the canyon it’s ALWAYS 18 or 19 people sharing the coins, so you barely get any coins. I don’t believe I’m actually competing for a prize with others, so I’ve mostly stopped playing the canyon. It’s very stressful for little reward. For whatever reason the game makes my phone SO HOT. I’m on a 15 pro max with the latest iOS/game version and my phone gets so hot after a few levels. I have to quit the app and let my phone cool otherwise the game starts glitching and can crash, which will make you lose your pilot’s drop if you’re mid level during the crash. I had reached out to support about the crashing and they told me tough luck it’s my phone’s fault. I later realized the heat was the reason my game was crashing. While it is definitely my phone heating up causing the crashing issue, why is it only this game that makes my phone so hot that I can no longer play the game? I can play other games for literally hours and no heat issues. More elaborate games don’t make my phone hot like this simple puzzle game does.

This game has a lot of potential but unfortunately, after your clear the first 100 or so levels, they are all difficult. Even the ones that are not labeled as difficult take multiple tries to clear the level. Don’t bother trying to solve the multiple levels in a row to race your peers… you simply will not be able to without spending either all your coins or buying more (which I suppose is the strategy here…) Again, starts out fun but really doesn’t last as you go deeper into the game

It was fun until it wasn’t. It is too hard to get extra time and extra items to make the extra hard levels. I’m not spending $10 to get past one level. So that’s that. I’m deleting it.

Color Block Jam is a colorful and entertaining puzzle game that offers both relaxation and mental challenge. The timer is way too short. Then asked to purchase time. It’s a good game if you want to spend alot of money, which I will not pay to play!

This is NOT a peaceful game to calm down. When it comes down to the last few seconds on some of those harder levels your cheeks will be clenched harder than they’ve ever been. Some of the level will have your wrist hurting by how quickly you’re moving the blocks but let that be said, this game is insanely fun and addictive. As much as it can frustrate me on some of those harder levels i will always find myself coming back for more.

I paid for no ads but there’s still ads. It said there’d be optional ads for rewards I figured that was for things like boosters and what not. You still have to watch ads to get more lives. So I don’t know what ads were removed. Maybe the ones between a level you just won and the new level? It’s not worth $8. Extremely misleading.

The game is fun. However, after losing a round you are asked if you want to continue by using 900 coins. If you have 900 coins and select the button, it goes straight to the game without asking if “ you are sure”. This being said, I’ve accidentally continued rounds that I wanted to end. Please add a confirmation button before all purchases to alleviate this issue. Thank you for considering this feedback.

Need an update that won’t heat up my phone and make it inoperable after playing for 20 minutes
