Shared Feeds Turn any tag into a public, auto-updating feed that can be viewed in any browser or added to any RSS reader that supports JSON feeds, making it simple to share your curated content. Unified Timeline Reeder supports more than just RSS feeds. It integrates videos, podcasts and social media posts into a single, streamlined view. While it’s not meant to replace full-featured clients, Reeder offers a centralized way to keep track of everything you follow, with the option to open content in other apps (if supported) when you want to dive deeper. Save and Organize Links Easily save links from Safari or any other app to Reeder using its share extension, keeping everything organized and easy to find. iCloud Sync Reeder only syncs what’s important — your subscriptions, timeline position and tagged items (including Links, Favorites, Bookmarks and Later) — across all your devices using iCloud, making syncing faster and more efficient, with changes pushed to your other devices within seconds. • Just Awesome

I was skeptical at first, coming from Reeder Classic. But after using and getting used to the new Reeder, I can’t imagine going back. The design of the UI is lovely, and the app feels so simple. It has just the right amount of features for me which means it doesn’t feel bloated, or I’m having to dance around additional features I don’t use. The ability to set a reading mode for each individual feed is my favorite new feature. Now I’m just waiting for a “True Black” theme to come! Thanks for an awesome app!
  • It needs “mark as read” to be a real RSS reader

As a long time Reeder user, I’m fine with adding other types of media into Reeder. I probably won’t use those features, but the lack of “mark as read” makes it kind of useless to me as an RSS reader. How do I tell what is new? Why can’t I hide things I’ve already read? It’s like a mail app where you can’t delete or archive emails!
  • Great app for tying it all together

In the old days I used Reeder Classic to keep track of news and updates, but over time everything seemed to migrate to Twitter. Now that Elon ruined Twitter, everyone has scattered to the wind again, and this new Reeder hits everything I need: follow people on Mastodon/fediverse (which means you can follow many people from Threads as well), RSS, Reddit, and so on. And now set filters on all the usual suspects to keep your sanity…
  • Best Universal Timeline

I’ve tried all of the universal timeline apps I could find and I think this one is the best. Great design and feature set. Makes it easy and a pleasure to keep up.
  • Promising app, but needs work

This app is a big jump from the author’s previous version, and it shows lots of promise, but usability is poor from my perspective. Are users really supposed to spend five to ten percent of the time scrolling up to the top of feeds, or scrolling through to find a post they forgot to mark or save? There needs to be some sort of navigation control, and there appears to be none
  • Connecting issue

Many subscriptions from rsshub can’t be loaded!
  • I always return to this one

I love trying out new ways to aggregate my feeds. While there are many fantastic options out there like NetNewsWire, Feeeed, and Tapestry, I always end up coming back to Reeder. It simply has the most pleasant UX, and does everything I want it to do exceptionally well. Other apps may have other interesting features (like Feeeed’s variety shuffling) but I always find that Reeder implements what I actually need the best. Also, ignore any review bombing. That’s just coming from people who made a one time purchase on the old version of Reeder and expect to get lifetime updates for free, for some reason. That old app still works fine, but I will happily subscribe to an app that promises to continue adding features and quality like this
  • Where has Reeder been all of my life?

Seriously, I’ve forgotten how much I love RSS readers—and the inclusion of social feeds, like Bluesky, its just the icing on the cake. I wish I could give it a 6/5. (And Reeder team: can you offer a lifetime subscription, too?)
  • Too much effort to switch

The inability to import feeds without a subscription makes this no go for me. Please rethink this — no one is going to want to try switching from another app if you add friction to the process.
  • I like the new approach

I am a longtime Reeder subscriber and generally like the app's new approach to feed management. You can subscribe to any RSS feed, and the app is smart enough to find the RSS feed for most websites that have one - enter the URL and Reeder 6 generally finds its RSS feed. Reeder also lets you subscribe to some social media sites: Mastodon, Bluesky, and Reddit, as well as Youtube and any podcast URL. You can browse by site or type, or by using the consolidated home feed. Reeder remembers where you were in reading your feed so that you can keep your place after refreshing. The old off-line reading functionality that Reeder used to provide is no longer supported, however Reeder 5 still does this; I use Reeder 6 for managing my feeds and Reeder 5 for offline rereading of specific pages.
