This game is great, I’ll admit, but when I’m on a road trip I cant play it in the car because “I’m going too fast.” Instead of making me clarify that I’m not driving, like most games like this do, which is quite annoying. I would ask them to fix this, but I doubt capcom will see this.

Long time hunter. It’s actually good for a mobile game seriously.

Niantic made a great game here, then limited it so much, and made every quest repetitive and boring. What a shocker. What’s even the point of defeating the regular/small monsters? They pose no threat, don’t fight back, and give off useless rewards.

Can’t change weapon and can’t even play it while in the passenger seat. Completely useless app. Gives monster hunter a bad name.
  • Game gets unplayable the more you play

I was having fun for the first several levels as you can power up your weapons and armor to out pace the story line and monsters. At level 10 monsters the game is completely unplayable. You unlock the final levels and max out all your gear to find out that your map is covered with monsters that are impossible to defeat. There are some like Banboro, Tzitzi, and Basarios but beyond that it doesnt matter what set up you have, the level 10 weapons powered to 10-5 fully with the driftsmelt bonuses to max out attack wont be enough damage to elim the monsters before the timer runs out and you fail. Its not even close. Like 20% to 30% of their health is left. I am playing remotely with 5 G on a new iphone so maybe its a server issue or something but Niantic is literally penalizing their players for doing well. Also there is no benefit to challenging level 9 or 10 monsters over level 8. My advice is stick with level 8 and keep going to the setting after the story quests and drop the level back to eight every time. Never under any circumstances should you unlock level 9 or 10 monsters. Super disappointed. Do better Niantic. Do better.

It’s a good game but we need easier access to potions if really needed without paying any money. It also takes a long time to get up after being knocked out and that can cost you valuable time against tough monsters. It would also be really nice if there were turf wars added in some way.
  • Potion Paywall

I’ve been playing off and on since release and I keep quitting for a single reason: the potion paywall. You literally have to pay to play the game. There’s no way to earn or buy potions with in game currency. If you run out of your daily 5 and you get knocked out, you’re done playing until you heal in an hour. It’s incredibly annoying. I’d be happy to spend money on cosmetics, carving knives, or gacha boxes (if they existed, which they should), if I could just PLAY THE GAME without spending money. Not even having a way to earn or buy them with other resources is just stupid. The point of a free game is to keep the players playing… niantic failed on this one.
