I made a terrible mistake, trusting Comcast / Xfinity with my phones, wifi and home security needs. This company has failed decent customer service, installation and walking their talk at every point of contact I’ve had with them. Their professionalism, services and abilities are faulty. Do yourself a favor and look for another provider and don’t even think about this company twice.

The position has changed to below the camera view on my iPad, shrinking the views of the camera. It used to be on the side of my tablet & disappearing to allow a better screen view. Frustrating! I get a better view on my little cell phone.

C’mon! Isn’t it time to integrate with other smart platforms?

Inconsistent! Right now I can’t turn off my alarm on app; this is an occasional problem but when it occurs it is extremely annoying & inconvenient.

I use my Xfinity home every time we leave the house for more than the day. It also lets me know when my pet sitter comes and goes! Today I had an issue with my touchscreen. It needed to be rebooted and I couldn’t see how. I chatted with a tech who was very patient and helpful and we resolved my issue in short order.

  • 2024 update has turned this into a hot mess

Been a customer of their security for 5 years now and my goodness, I don’t know who's on their development team but I’m impressed they somehow convinced Xfinity to continue giving them money for their work. - Face recognition totally broken, no longer disarms like it used to and still have to use code - Delays of up to one minute while changing status … even when at home using Xfinity WiFi - Inconsistent status between app and home display. For instance, often the display will correctly say “Disarmed” while the app still shows multiple zones open or the doors had been used recently.

I recently tried to access the app when it forced me over to the general Xfinity app stating it “no longer supported home protection” Now I cannot control my Outlet controller or arm my system
