  • Wrongful violations

    Ok so the fact that you are given a designated time to pick up and deliver by is kind of understandable but what I think is wrong is the fact that you get violations for being late even by just a little bit when most of the time the restaurants I pick up from don’t have the order ready for 5-10 minutes after I arrive yall need to do something about that.
  • Scheduling is broken for me.

    For the last three days, I have been unable to schedule a shift for my area. I checked to make sure that my area was enabled in preferences. It is. I updated to the latest version. That didn’t help. I even made sure that I was checking immediately after midnight, when it becomes available to me or at least should. I can see shifts for Kinder, Jennings, Deridder and other surrounding areas for instance, but nothing for Lake Charles. I even logged out of the app, and restarted my phone. Nothing has helped so I guess I’ll be working a lot less since I can’t schedule a shift, only Dash Now during rushes.

    I made an account to be a dasher and it’s stuck on my background check now for 3 years I deleted the account and did a new application like they told me to do and it’s still stuck on the background check why I don’t know

    The Dasher app is plagued with numerous issues that severely hinder its usability and reliability for delivery drivers. A significant problem is the app’s failure to update earnings totals promptly, leaving drivers uncertain about their actual income. Additionally, the GPS functionality often directs drivers to incorrect locations, leading to delays and potential contract violations. The app frequently returns to the home screen between dashes, disrupting workflow and causing unnecessary frustration. Another concern is the acceptance rate metric; declining a single order can inexplicably lower the acceptance rate by 2% instead of the expected 1%, which seems unfair and demoralizing. Moreover, many users report a lack of available orders, even in areas marked as “Busy” or “Very Busy,” resulting in wasted time and fuel. The app’s scheduling system is also problematic, often prompting drivers to select time slots in different areas or much later than desired. Technical glitches are common, with the app occasionally crashing or freezing, leading to missed opportunities and decreased earnings. Customer support is often unhelpful, with reports of long wait times and inadequate resolutions to pressing issues. These persistent glitches and design flaws make the Dasher app more of a hindrance than a helpful tool for delivery drivers. If the developers cared even a little bit, they would fix these issues. The number of 5-star reviews must be fake, as there’s no way real users are using the app without encountering problems. I use the app every day for work, and there are numerous glitches that prevent me from having a stable and balanced experience.

    i don’t like how it says you can make a lot on shop and deliver but when the store is out of product doesn’t make sense the driver fault so you cant reach criteria to get high orders. and low pay outs for long distance miles isn’t reasonable considering it’s timed so you will eventually be said you are to late to costumers house.

    If you could PLEASE remove the red notification icon once the notifications have been seen. My OCD would really appreciate it!! SO ANNOYING!!
  • Low payments

    Doordash allows extremely low payments, the platinum level does not offer better payments. The catering orders are just as bad as the rest and doordash does nothing to fix that and help the driver

    DoorDash has a great customer service team that does work diligently hard to assist drivers provided the driver has the pertinent information to help resolve an issue or incident with a customer, delivery, app, ratings, or navigation delays. I really do appreciate their professionalism, candor, and updates or upgrades to the app to make the delivery driving experience smooth and efficient. Customers really do appreciate less errors and delays with their orders. And it’s all about giving excellent customer service to all DoorDash customers.
