  • Lots of features I didn’t know I needed and rely on.

I got this app because it tracks relationships between entries, but that was just the beginning, Like most powerful apps it took a while to discover all its features. The only feature on my wish list is Apple does not provide a way to make Cardhop the default.

A fine-looking Contacts replacement that can be used from the Menu Bar. What’s not to love?
  • It's a pretty contacts app - still

they don't allow linked contacts with multiple accounts... cause you can do it in contacts. unified cards... have to be done in contacts At this point, just use the contacts app an save your money. I hope this changes in the future, but it's worthless outside of just having a centralized "prettier" contacts. Save your money until improvements are made. And no family share… C’mon.

Managing contacts can be a challenge and using Cardhop has both removed stress and added capabilities to my communications workflow.
  • I use Cardhop dozens of times daily!

Cardhop has become indispensable to me. In my day job, I'm contacting people constantly and meeting new people every day. The way that the application allows me to parse details and add a contact within a few seconds is just stellar. There's nothing like it. I can't believe I haven't written a review about it yet but, much like it's companion application (Fantastical), it excels at what it aims to do – add and act on contacts with ease, like Fantastical does so with calendar events. Thank you, Flexibits!
  • Beachballs on launch every time.

I have 7,000 contacts on a MacBook Pro running the latest macOS (14.5). I do not sync with Google, Microsoft, or any other third party. This Cardhop app does absolutely nothing except beachball upon launch repeatedly. I created an account, I gave it all access, and I got nothing.
  • Not Ready for Prime Time

The app has some great features but the lack of automation renders them useless to me. A sentence written in a url to enter a new contact or retrieve one is not workable.
  • Monthly subscription?

The organization features of Cardhop are pretty good though odd thing happen at times. That said, it failed on me this week, requiring a re-download from the appstore per instructions (which meant an OS version not supported in my older machine). Now back to version 1 features when I had to go to an archived version. Most of my contacts seem now to be wiped, including in my Apple contact manager. Seriously? You want $60 each year for this? Everything a subscription service now.
  • Least intuitive and poorly designed

This has to be one of the worst contact app I have used. It is barely usable. Once you enter a new contact it is almost impossible to edit its context as you can't find how to do it. The app makes you work more than what it is needed.
