It is easy to read, adding events and times are easy - it’s all around great!
  • Missing the old widget

The biggest reason I used Fantastical was because of the large widget that showed the NAMES of events in the calendar. Now we’re left with heatmaps and dots, which personally doesn’t help at all. I now use minical just for the widget, but i miss fantastical for other features. Just return the old widget and I’d be back instantly.
  • Love it but hate how it freezes

I use this calendar the most but sometimes it just locks up. If it’s an operator, I can’t figure out why and even after reboot, it stays locked up. That’s annoying.
  • 5 stars... when it works

Updated to 4 stars since Apple is clearly to blame too, but this literally never happens to me with the Google Calendar app, which I'm regretfully using for now. Fantastical is THE perfect calendar app 99% of the time, but I find myself frequently frustrated by its iOS home screen and lock screen widgets and watchOS complications getting frozen and showing old data no matter what I do. Events I've deleted are still shown. Events I've added aren't shown. Yesterday's events are shown today. Rebooting both my phone and my watch almost never helps.
  • iOS 26 integration issue ie bug 🪲🤔

iOS 4.1.1 & macOS 4.1.2 🪲= Create a daily repeating reminder → preview shows all future instances → press command → only the next one remains. Apple Calendar/Reminders still show full series. Regression? 🤔#Fantastical
  • I dropped it some time ago with earlier versions.

This latest version has fixed all my (private) complaints and then some. What a nice app. So glad it works so well with 26.

Always one of my favorite apps both visually and functionally, Flexibits have hit it out of the park with their Liquid Glass release. I love how the team introduced animations beyond the typical overlays and buttons other apps (even Apple’s) use. It feels like a masterclass in implementing this new design language.
  • Horrible app

It costs $90 a year now for basic functionality like shared calendar notifications. Completely insane. Switched to Apple Calendar.
  • Overemployed? Get this app.
