Like all games this one starts off extremely well. As you start to pick up momentum in the PvP matches they will begin matching you with more difficult opponents that equipped with better weapons forcing you to make purchases or quit. This is the second time I started playing this game and same outcome.

I had high hopes for Command & Conquer: Rivals, but the game turned out to be a huge disappointment. First, the monetization system is blatantly pay-to-win. Players who spend money on unit upgrades and crates have a clear advantage, making it nearly impossible for free-to-play users to compete on an even playing field. The gameplay itself feels repetitive, with very little strategic depth compared to the classic Command & Conquer titles. Matches often devolve into a frantic rush to capture points, which takes away from the tactical planning the series is known for. The progression system is incredibly slow, and the grind becomes tedious after just a few hours. The game feels like it’s designed to frustrate you into spending money, rather than rewarding skill and strategy. On top of that, the limited unit variety and shallow tech trees make each match feel almost identical, further reducing the game’s replay value. Finally, the game lacks the charm and complexity of the original series. It’s a poor mobile adaptation that focuses too much on squeezing cash from players rather than delivering a true Command & Conquer experience. For long-time fans of the franchise, Rivals is a disappointing and shallow attempt to cash in on nostalgia. This review highlights some common complaints about the game.

I wish someone would make a better pocket rts, but they can't. In a league of it's own; & with enough depth to enjoy on blue stacks...

I don’t know what the plan for this company is but if they can’t by using strategy and instead manipulate the AI so they give them extra points to cheat their customers gameplay just understands they are ruining the companies reputation. Very unhonest.

Fun for a few weeks, then it’s pay to win. Every match I get now is a “challenge match” against an opponent two levels higher than me, which is un-winnable. Expect to spend lots of money if you want to be competitive.
  • Starts off a good game..

Once you hit level 5 or 6. Unless you pay real money to upgrade you will be destroyed quickly and every time. I am level 5 to 6 and all the players that it chooses to battle me is level 8 to 10 so back to back I have to fight High level people. So I lost interest in the game and no longer enjoy the game. It was promising in the beginning. Just download it and play and you will see what I am talking about. 🤟🏼

I am addicted to this game for almost 3 years. I don’t like playing games on iPhone, I have PC and PS 5 for it. But this game is exception. This is the only game I play on iPhone. I hope the developers will start developing this game. Because for 3 years nothing has changed in this game.

This game is probably one of the most addictive game I’ve played on the phone. That being said, I think there is a flaw that could be easily fixed to make the game better for mid-level players. There’s a point near the platinum stage where I call it “the platinum wall”. Basically the game sets you up with players who have superior units and you generally run defeat after defeat. Mind you, you won’t lose point from these defeats because you are at a disadvantage and the game recognizes it. But seriously, these players have superior units that can even defeat your units that they are supposedly weak against. This take much of the strategy out of the game and leaves it to fun by slaughter. So for those sadistic players that probably fantasize infiltrating a K-6 spelling bee with a dictionary, then I’m sure they are having a blast building the one or two units that can destroy all of mine. Anyway, if the developers can somehow reconcile this, I’ll start having fun again advancing up based on skill.
