  • Decent app but collection doesn’t go beyond anime

    App is fairly easy to use. I found the images all of high quality and everything looked well translated. However if you are looking to see the manga past the anime episodes that are found in the main Crunchyroll app, you’d be greatly disappointed.

  • Variety of content

    If anybody wants a lengthy platform to find any kind of manga you desire, this is not that platform. There are infamous Mangas that are shown and showcase in this, but those few don’t have their entirety of their volumes within those. I strongly suggest anybody who wants to read, manga here weights, a considerable amount of time before Crunchyroll decides to put the rest of the manga that they’re missing. Shonen jump works just fine.

    I am a chainsaw man fan and got this app knowing that chainsaw man streamed on Crunchyroll itself so I thought I could read the chainsaw man, but there is a chainsaw man. Please add chainsaw man.

    Despite it being very new, it has a good variety of manga. I hope more series are added such as Dragon Ball, jojo’s bizarre adventure, etc.

  • Good app, bad library

    The app itself seems really nice. The reader is good and you can download manga. It comes with my crunchyroll subscription which is nice. But the library is pretty bare and the manga I checked weren’t even close to up-to-date. If the library selection improves this app would be perfect. But until then it’s back to pirating and physical copies.

  • Incomplete with no indication of upcoming content

    Most of the manga is incomplete and even less complete than related anime. This is all hype and a bait and switch. No indication anywhere that any of the titles will ever provide the missing chapters. It seems more like to just add a small amount of additional incomplete titles never living up to the promise. I have cancelled my subscription.

  • Not able to log in

    So, Ihave been a longtime user of Crunchyroll and was really excited to the Manga edition. However, after I have already upgraded to the account able to access both, I still can’t access the Manga App at all. I only get an error message to access my account which I can’t even access. You know, if developers are this incapable of providing a flawless transformation of two worlds, than I just have to say that I’m highly dissatisfied and disappointed. This has been a frustrating experience and I’m thoroughly thinking about canceling everything at this point.

  • Missing the guided reading

    I had the original Crunchyroll manga app and they had a “guided reading” that zoomed in on the panels as you read them, ensuring you felt closer to the story as you read and made it feel more cinematic. If you have the feature I would like it added to the app again.
