eSIM wouldn’t work on unlocked my or my wife’s iPhones. Refused to give refund, only in app usable credit. This is useless to us if it won’t work with our phones.

I needed one day. I could not get it to work. Maybe it would’ve worked for somebody else it would not work for me.

iPhone does not allow you to use the app if it’s a new iPhone 17 if it’s on payments an apple doesn’t like ad blockers
  • Beware of country listing

Beware of country listing on regional and global plans. Saily will remove countries without notice and the best they can do on a 1Yr global plan was to offer a $5 coupon.

This saved my most recent trip overseas, but not before I made a mistake! I’m not a techie, so didn’t realize the eSIM would shut down calls and messages from my primary phone. Just know you’ll have to switch back and forth. Wish they highlighted that for those of us who aren’t tech-savvy.

The app ridiculously doesn’t know what eSIM plans have been purchased unless it connects to the internet. It doesn’t take a genius to see that this information needs to be stored on the device. When arriving in a country, the eSIM should be activated without requiring first connecting to the internet. Common sense says that the eSIM might be needed to connect to the internet. The catch-22 is unnecessary. Saily’s claim that plans are loaded and ready to activate upon arrival is false. When necessary, the user/purchaser can confirm that the plan needs to be activated. But all necessary information should be stored in the device at time of purchase of the plan. [Notes to developers: I’m not looking for excuses for this ridiculous oversight. Just correct it. If you are actually clever, allow existing customers to add a plan (upon unanticipated arrival) in a country by connecting to a cellular network to transmit a purchase or conversion request for another plan.]

I’m new to the world of eSIMs. I tried to use it once and could never get connected. That was another vendor and installing away from home. By installing at home. I had a few questions but the Help chat feature talked me through the installation and all I need to do is activate when I arrive. Gave 4 stars because I don’t know if it will work or not.

Initially, when I went to Africa to Liberia, this service was amazing. It was way better than what I could find locally. I went back to Liberia just last week, and it was absolute garbage. No matter where I was at in Liberia, it just didn’t seem to work. I was on chat with Support for a super long time, and they were able to help me get online, but it was really slow and not even worth it.
