After a Mariners game my wife and I were directed to walk approximately 1 mile to catch the 550 bus to return to Bellevue Transit Center. It was approximately 10 PM. We we arrived at the directed site there was no transit bus stop at that location. The APP then notified us that that bus stop was closed due to construction. The APP would not direct me to another bus stop - it kept directing us to the same location. We walked until we found Transit Security employees- they directed further back to where we had originally started walking. When we arrived there there was no 550 pickup site. A downtown bus driver took us back up to another location and directed us to walk down hill from 2nd to 4th Ave to a bus stop there - there was no bus stop there. We walked further uphill and found a bus stop & a 550 bus was stopped there. When we tried to get on the bus, the driver REFUSED to let on, saying it was a drop off location only. I explained the it was 10:30 PM and we needed to get back to Bellevue Transit Center before the last bus. He refused to tell us where a bus stop was that we could catch. He rudely shut the doors on us. After walking more miles we found 2 more Transit Security employees that told us to go back to the transit stop where the driver refused to let us on. A few blocks more of walking and trying to use the USELESS APP, we caught a CAB that cost us $75 to take us back to the Bellevue Transit Center where our vehicle was parked. It was mid-night. Don’t trust your life to Seattle Transit!!!
