i like how easy but specific the questionnaire’s are- it really gets you to think more and look back on habits you didn’t realize you had. i also appreciate that they give advice after you log and entree, and the food scanner does a pretty good job at registering what the food is by the photo. also the cute gifs and inspirational stuff is very sweet- the cherry on top.

I am using this app while working with a therapist and dietician to build better habits. It helps me log food and feelings. The mindfulness exercises and quotes are great for motivation and I like that it has everything in one place.

I am an emotional eater and stress of starting another diet just starts another episode. Here I just keep track of how I feel and what the food is. So far I really like. I feel better after I have logged in not worse. I’ll update after I’ve had it for a while longer.
  • Completely Non-functional

The app throws an error that simply says “Oops” with options for “OK” and “Retry.” Neither option does anything. The app is completely useless. Not only that, I can’t even contact Support because that error message is thrown when I click the support link, too!

So thoughtfully and mindfully designed/created. I am in an IOP program right now and only 40% of my recovery is meeting with my dietician/therapist and my group. 60% is what I’m doing on RR. I am incredibly grateful for this app and all its wonderful features.
  • Literally only one thing to complain about. (Edit; 2 things, lol)

It’s just such a horrible feature to not let somebody submit their food log because they “need to spend more time on the log.” How embarrassing in public, or even alone. Edit: You cannot add more than one drink per day. That’s actually a very stressful feature.
  • Not user friendly

Not user friendly and very annoying to use, especially when it comes to photos. I am motivated to get my eating disorder under control so I dont have to use this terrible app anymore.
  • A helpful tool

I really appreciate this app because it has a lot of different tools you can use for self-discovery and self-development. You do have to make the effort to experiment and figure out how to make it work best for you, but that is the beauty of it. It’s very customizable. I’ve used it personally and in treatment. I am constantly discovering new tools that it has.
  • Awful customer service

I’ve used this app for several years and been logging consistently every day. After deleting the app and reinstalling it on a new device all my logs for the past year and a half were gone. I’ve reached out to recovery record support FOUR TIMES and only received a response once. It didn’t solve the issue and there was no follow up. I’m really disappointed, being able to look back at what unhealthy eating patterns I’ve struggled with vs what it looks like when I’m healthy was really important to me. I have stopped using the app because of this

It’s really nice to see that I’m looking out and after myself with this app. It’s nice to be able to say whatever I want to say and not be judged but encouraged. I like on how the rest of my life is being journaled as well. Thanks.
