    I have been using procreate now for about 8 years and I know the ins and outs better than anyone I know. I know how to create brushes, how to import custom fonts, and how all the fun extras work. However, the text could use some updates. I wish there was a way to save text settings and customizations without having to customize it every time. There is a specific way I like my Kerning, Tracking, and Leading for each font and I wish I didn’t have to fix it each time. I also wish there was a more intuitive way to curve text without having to use liquify or having to go to another software all together. I also wish text didn’t rasterize when you hard press transfer it to a new canvas. Otherwise, this is the only program I use for all things school, work, and personal, and I wouldn’t have it any other way.

  • A HUGE GLITCH PROBLEM!!!

    There’s a glitch where I’m drawing and minding my own business, and it stops registering both pen and touch signals, causing it to overload with information. When it comes back into focus, it most times undoes all my work, and there’s no way to redo it because it never registered long enough to keep. This and it registers too many signals, both my hand and pen at the same time, creating these unnecessary markers that will go into exaggerated dotted lines, or it will go into a whole undo process altogether which has become more and more irritating by the day and it’s taking every willpower in me not to throw or punch my iPad because of this app. I’m doing my best not to get overwhelmed and cuss every sentence in this review. I love Procreate; it’s amazing, and I have fun on here. Unfortunately, I’m in a state where little things are starting to feel like irritatingly horrible.

    Great app. Intuitive and responsive. Appreciate that they’ve refused to integrate any generative AI features. I do wish that there was an option to display the Layer name. Personally, I’m someone that draws with a lot of layers, and sometimes I draw on the incorrect one and have to undo a whole bunch of work. I could also just pay better attention. But I’d still like the option.
