This app is awesome. Literally so cheap too has great brushes and I know a lot of Youtubers that use it. If you’re looking for something that cost money, but it is a good app to draw on this is the perfect one. BUY NOW! :3

This is my favorite app for digital art, I only have one problem. The problem is that I feel the way of stacking isn’t very good as you can’t put a stack within a stack, it’s just one large stack. Otherwise, this is my favorite app.

Really sucks that you have to individually save each drawing to your files if you don’t want any chance of losing it. I have lost all of my drawings because of this. You should be able to make an account that saves all your drawings to a cloud. Ridiculous that that’s not an option. Will be moving on to Ibis paint.

personal files delete if you offload the app to save space, and all that’s left are pre-loaded advertisements for other artists.

Okay so I do enjoy procreate so far but there are things that need improvement. There needs to be a better way to undo and redo actions. There’s no straight line option. The blending option is different but you get used to it. You have to pay for extra brushes. I have used sketchbook app for years and it can do all these options just fine and it does not cost as much as this app does. I hope procreate pocket can add more options to make it more functional in these ways and more.
  • Great, but would really like to be able to save brush sizes

I’ve been a long time user of Procreate and it far exceeds other drawing applications in my opinion. For many years I used the regular Procreate app on my iPad. Unfortunately my iPad broke, so I’ve been using Procreate Pocket on my iPhone. I’ve seen no need to purchase a new iPad because all of the features that are important to me on regular Procreate are also on Pocket, except for the ability to save brush sizes. I tend to use a single brush many times in several different sizes when making art. Currently I have to either write down the brush size percentage or duplicate the brush for each size. Both of these methods are extremely inconvenient. Manually changing the size takes time and can be finicky, while duplicating very quickly created a cluttered mess in my saved brushes. Saving brush sizes is an amazing quality of life feature in regular Procreate, and I’d really love to see it in a future Procreate Pocket update.

Why, sometimes, can I copy a layer and then paste that layer onto another layer's mask, but other times following the exact same procedure (layer menu > highlight source layer > copy > select destination mask > paste) just pastes the copied layer as a new layer? The selection state of the mask is sometimes respected, sometimes not. I'll use a particular technique on a project and then suddenly that technique just stops working. It's not me forgetting how to do it, because it happens when I'm in my repetitive flow. I can't complete my project because a technique stops working for no discernible reason, wasting all the time I invested in that project. This isn't the first time this has happened. When it does, I eventually get frustrated and stop using the app for a few months, then I'll get an idea and pick it back up again, having forgotten that procreate is likely to throw a roadblock in the way well into a project. I wish it would just be buggy up front instead of baiting me to waste my time. When they fix a bug, there's always a new bug introduced but it's one that will hit you when you least expect it. Regression testing needs to be a higher priority at this company. But y'all win, y'all got my money and I got an app I can't rely on.
