    I never had an issue with the MSNBC app but ever since they switched to msnow, it has been an absolute garbage app. Blank blue screens, deleted the app multiple times to redownload it so that it would work for a few days and constant freezing. I feel like they hired the app creators who worked on the CNN app when they were trying to sell the CNN service. They need to fix this because it is currently trash.

    The app is not only not working, but teases that it is with bulletins incessantly denying that obvious fact.

    If you like commercials, especially hearing the same small number of commercials over and over and over, this is the app for you! Also, if you like an app that plays commercials over the first few minutes of a show, so that you come in on a show already in progress, then you’ll love this one.

  • Verizon TV Provider login broken on Apple TV

    The app works fine on iPhone I can sign in and link my Verizon Fios account no problem. But on Apple TV it redirects to Verizon’s site and throws a generic error saying it can’t process the request. Tried it on two completely different Apple TVs with the same result, so this is definitely a bug in the tvOS app, not a device or account issue. Hoping the dev team patches this soon. Using AirPlay as a workaround for now.

    The appletv app just doesn’t work. It worked on ios 26.3. But the recent update left a blue screen with audio only. Deleted the app and reinstalled it the image is back and audio, but I can’t sign into my TV provider so I only get nine minutes per day. This isn’t rocket science.

  • Apple TV App Doesn't Work

    After the switch from MSNBC to MSNOW, the Apple TV app will not load the live broadcast. And to see the most recently posted videos, I have to restart my Apple TV altogether. With everyone migrating to YouTube, you'd think Versant would have worked harder to roll out a flawless app and provide an easier way to troubleshoot issues besides having to post issues in the Apple Store.

    I enjoy and watch MS Now daily on TV, but this app has the most egregious data collection and privacy issues I’ve ever encountered. Too bad. I was looking forward to using this app, but had to delete it.

    My iPhone cannot run Os 17 so I can no longer see MS Now. Why do that? There are lots of us with older phones.
