Reviews

  • Horrible App experience

I have had this app for 3 months. It is the worst app I think I have ever used for watching and streaming live content. Not sure how cnbc is getting away with this or if it’s just me. But this app is robbery for the price you pay for it. FYI I don’t write reviews.
  • Ads are here!

Dropped the rating to one since they charge a high premium for mobile access and recently decided to include ads. When contacting customer service they said they take all customer feedback. However, this seems to be a big step backwards in customer value. The product team should be ashamed.
  • Bitcoin price is broken

This app is worthless if you follow Bitcoin. Price doesn’t display. Graph doesn’t update anymore, either.
  • So Irritating

Now they force you to watch Ad’s when you rewatch episodes. 1 minute+ in length and LOTS of them. Unbelievably frustrating. I don’t want to waste my time at night watching male ED advertisements. PLEASE STOP charging us monthly fees AND forcing us to watch Ad’s as well. Terrible judgment by the executives at CNBC.
  • Same commercials always!

So tired of the same commercials everyday!
  • Ads

Now they’ve added in adds. I did not pay $400 for ads!
  • Advertisement displayed with Pro

I subscribed to CNBC Pro $299 but canceled because the iOS and iPad apps show advertisements during the live stream. However, when using a desktop computer or web app with Pro, there are no ads. I like the pro news, but why are there advertisements for paid subscribers?
  • Advertising on Pro - Cancel My Subscription.

Simply put, I’ve paid for Pro for years to avoid ads. If Pro now includes advertising, I’d prefer to listen to Bloomberg and read biz news. How do I cancel my subscription immediately? Moreover, by taking removing a subscription attribute as valuable as an ad free experience without choice or compensation, CNBC has lost my trust as a reliable and honest brand.
  • This review is about their horrible CarPlay

So first off I have no issue with the CNBC apps implementation of news, articles and the subscription services. But the CarPlay is simply JUNK! It’s been said before in the reviews you’ll see here so I won’t reiterate what’s been said. But wow it’s so beneath the rest of the app it’s comically irritating. FIX IT OR DELETE IT!
  • PRO: Slow to upload OnDemand content

    2
    By DebtSucks
I pay for PRO, and I love Fast Money. CNBC uploads the on-demand content much faster to the Apple TV app but waits hours to load to the IOS app. What gives? I go to the gym after work and want to watch the latest Fast Money on my phone. The Fast Money episode is uploaded late into the night after I’m done at the gym, but almost immediately on my Apple TV at home. Dumb
