  • Photo Processing Component

After the demise of Aperture—perfect for a photojournalist—Affinity Photo serves as one replacement component. Photos now get stored in file folders organized by GraphicConverter via the integrated exiftool. Affinity Photo 2 serves as a more complete and nuanced photo editor, alongside GraphicConverter. This arrangement gradually rose to the top as many photo management products failed to provide needed tools. GraphicConverter and Affinity Phone 2 get the job done pretty cleanly.

The program has such great potential, BUT every time I closed it, my desktop colors would get washed out. I was using the trial version, hoping to buy it afterward, but when I contacted them to say why I wouldn't buy it, I got a response but didn't see it till after I wrote this, I had already deleted it. It had some really cool features I wanted. I'm afraid to try it again or use any of their other programs. 👎🏻

Affinity is a super powerful app that i have found myself using on both my ipad pro and macbook helpnig me maximize my effecince and workflow. The no subscribtion philosophy was what sold me on affinity at first, but the functionality sold me all over again.

I'm painter of landscape. I used another photo program, then I found Affinitty. Editing my images of my artwork became unstressted and easy. The tools in Affinity are easy to learn and they have many tutorials to work with. If your creative this is the group to get...Learning curve is different for everbody but your learning curve with affinity is light'n fast...!
  • 7-day trial with required sign-up

Not 30 day without sign-up, as advertised. Violating my trust from the first moment in contact with this company. I have 1 hour per week to eval things so this guarantees no sale will be coming from me.

Affinity Photo does everything I need for a affordable price. Just a small set-back to relearn how to do some tasks.

I am a novice but I'm familiar with editing software. This program is not intuitive. Simple procedures are difficult and hard to find. I am ready to give up but I will keep trying because I'm sure I'll figure it out.

Such a great product Suite. Please keep it "Subscription Free" or you will have many professionals migrating to OpenSource apps.
  • Great App and Company but Canva Bought Them

I love Affinity Photo and the other apps are good too. However, Canva just bought them. Now I'm scared. If Canva goes subscriptoin it will destroy what Affinity has created so be forewarned. Don't go there or I'm out. Until then, It's a great tool.
