I used to love this app. I still use it daily, but now have to cancel out of 70+ webpages a day because there’s so many ads that are very sensitive to touch. Hope they can find a way to make their advertising less irritating

They took a bunch of good independent apps, combined it into one big mess, and now anywhere you touch the app, pops up unwanted spam bait. Be careful using this it work, due to all the ads that pop up just because you accidentally touched something. Deceptive marketing practices. Other apps have ads to pay for development, but this takes it way too far.

The images a re a complete waste of screen space, how can I disable? App is rather unusable for news with them

The app acts completely wonky with keyboard delays and moronic pop ups. I considered subscribing but very leery now.

Just what I was looking for in content, but the ads are becoming too much. I understand the business aspect of the necessity of them, however, multiple scrolling ads for one article is becoming a bit too much.

The ad pop ups make it nearly impossible to use

First major problem with this app is that it keeps crashing on my iPad, starting yesterday, even after the update. Additional issues have to do with the media portion, specifically the podcasts. As a paying customer, I am supposed to get the uncensored version of the Triggered podcast, not possible. Also, there is no way to speed up the podcast, I typically listen to everything on 1.75x speed, this should be a no-brainer. Additionally, then my phone times out & goes dark, you have to open the phone back up in order to control any pausing or skipping. There are also issues with the comments section of the articles, but those are less annoying. Please fix this, I have subscribed to you guys, because I love your work & want to support you. 2026 update: Please fix your app! I love your content, but the app blows. On top of the fact that you still cannot get podcasts to increase speed, after years of asking for this. Now, every story doesn’t load properly unless you load it a second time. Whenever there are tweets (Twitchy) they load on top of each other. Or there are massive space gaps within the story. I try to be patient with you guys & have had the VIP going since you started it because I believe in what you do. You need to fire your app developer though.

The app sticks on the first opening ad and I have deleted it and reloaded it and turned off my phone and restarted but it only worked correctly one time then hung on the first ad again.

I love the APP and how it aggregates all of the best news sites and information. The only shortcoming I can find is there’s no “Home” button/feature so you can quickly go back to the beginning after you’ve gone down a rabbit hole following link after link. For now, I just close the APP and reopen it to “reset” it to the home page, but I would think something could be done to make it more efficient. Thanks!

I love the app itself and I understand the need for ads in a free app. But they pop up constantly and even after you close them, they continue to pop up over and over rendering most articles unreadable. Kind of defeats the purpose. I can live with the ads but please, please, please stop with the forcefulness of them. Advertisers, myself and a lot of people like me, refuse to buy your product when you force unclose able or overly aggressive ads on us, has the opposite effect. Your research may tell you otherwise but I am telling you, I take note. Be reasonable and so will I.
