    I have just added the Salem News app to a new iPad I acquired, and am enjoying catching up with Mr. Hewitt daily on YouTube. The mix of current events, fascinating interviews, and book reviews provides me with all I need to feel competent about a conservative political philosophy in our modern world. For example, I was very excited about Hugh’s interview and review of Leland Vittert’s autobiography, “Born Lucky”. I proceeded to order the book from Amazon, and being a retired school teacher, plan to share multiple copies with friends and family because that is now my calling. To promote reading as a way of enriching life is my burning passion. This week Hugh interviewed Bret Baier about his new book about Theodore Roosevelt, “To Rescue the American Spirit”. My son, Zeb, is working in Fargo, ND at North Dakota State University, and he very excited about the museum that will opened in honor of Theodore Roosevelt’s life in 2O26. I could not have had a better recommendation for a book to share than the enthusiastic interview and review by Hugh. I immediately ordered a copy for myself and sent a copy to my son. I, as many others, view Hugh as a national treasure, that daily provides a positive alternative to the progressive spin of the legacy media. I feel honored to share my review. Gerry L.
