    This is not the first app I’ve used before but I’ve got to say is the best one I’ve enjoyed this, the platform is so great. The Content is so good. And the challenges are so helpful. Praise be to God for this kind of ministry, and the impact that this app is doing on the lives of many.

    Overall I would say this is a good app that monitors the web. However it doesn’t monitor apps which is the only downfall I see. Recently tho I’ve been having an error pop up and can’t get into the Victory app to see activity nor is the website link working on any device I type it into. Probably a technical issue on the apps end but it makes it hard to keep live track of my partners online use.

    If you are looking at this app for yourself. Then just do it. I went back and forth for well over 2 years thinking my addiction wasn’t “that” bad. Or I’d just come up with excuses and delays. An addiction to *ornography won’t just go away into the night. You have to take an active stand against it. I was really blown away by how encouraging the comment and prayer section of the app is. The replies and responses are pre generated for very understandable reasons given the topic. But they help! This addiction and its combo with shame really make you feel alone. This app does the opposite. The vpn works well for blocking explicit material. But of course at the end of the day we have to be responsible and use discipline to. But my lord does this app flipping help. Please please please just give it a try.

  • It’s okay for what it is, but it could be better

    I use this app for my boyfriend. It works pretty well for what it is. Although there are a couple problems and I’d like to make a suggestion. Firstly, the outages really need to be dealt with. I know that they are unexpected and sometimes not really preventable, but given the subject matter, if an outage happens, then the person you are monitoring becomes extremely likely to have a slip. Which completely defeats the purpose of the app. Secondly, the chat feature is new, but I think it would be exceedingly useful if the person being monitored could request an app unblock for a set amount of time through the chat and the one monitoring could give them remote access to the requested app for however long they set it to. E.g. 30 minutes-3 hours, whatever. My boyfriend works and I’m at the house, sometimes he needs to access the internet for his job, but it’s blocked, so I have to give him the code, which I then need to keep changing over and over. It’s just not really intuitive.

    The app frequently blocks things that aren’t remotely explicit. Also it will log you out, and not let you log back in, but your phone won’t work until you can log back in. It’s really rather frustrating for the cost.
