WHY ACCOUNTABILITY HELPS YOU QUIT PORN A lot of companies fighting porn start with technical solutions. They believe access to porn is the only problem. Our philosophy is different. Over 20 years of helping more than 1.5 million people live porn-free has shown us… - Porn use isolates people and damages relationships. - Healing from porn use must start with relationships and accountability. - Our technology facilitates close-knit accountability relationships that help you live porn-free. With Covenant Eyes, you invite someone you know and trust to hold you accountable and see your device activity. When you allow someone to see how you're using your devices, it changes how you use them. TWO APPS. ONE SIMPLE PATH TO VICTORY. Covenant Eyes works alongside our brand-new Victory app to facilitate world-class accountability. The Covenant Eyes app quietly monitors your screen activity and captures periodic screenshots. • Glitchy filtering

The connection on the filter in general is very glitchy and unstable in general, when I first installed this app the VPN would glitch in and out constantly, eventually I got it fixed. Also on my PC it STILL glitches in and out, making some websites struggle to load and go in and out of offline mode. Tried everything with their support and they deemed it “unfixable for now” meaning the filter itself is just glitchy. Also keep in mind you will be paying a hefty subscription for what this is when you can just create your own DNS if you really wanted to.

It seems the latest update actually fixed the VPN issue. Thanks devs! Highly recommend to anyone I council. You can’t be tempted by what you don’t have access to.

Updates have resolved the issue I mentioned in my original review. (Old review) VPN keeps cycling on and off endlessly, making the phone almost completely unusable. The app has been great for the most part, but whatever this recent change is has been terrible
  • So many steps

I’ve enjoyed what the app is accomplishing but getting the apps setup and getting people added to it, and having random notifications pop up telling you something and when you click on it to fix it, it takes you no where helpful. Customer service has been top notch though, so when you do have a problem, at least they’re helpful.

VPN makes my whole phone activity too slow. I can’t even get on my banking app. It wasn’t always like this but it’s gotten a lot worst.

Update: Issue has been fixed in the upgrade and everything is working smoothly now. I should also add the customer service and response to this was splendid. Love this app. Worth the money. I can’t use my phone for anything because the VPN keeps blinking on and off so I can’t load any of my apps it just keeps reloading them over and over and over. Going to delete and pay for a better service that isn’t so buggy.
  • Not a real VPN

If you count on a VPN for privacy from your ISP; Covenant Eyes will do nothing to protect you. Their sole purpose is to help keep you from viewing porn. And part of their software takes the place of the VPN you may have been using and trusting for years. Furthermore, if you refuse to upgrade because you want to see what they haven't fixed before they released it, they will list you as: not having installed the product. But they will go on charging you $17 a month. Let the buyer Beware!.
