    This vpn has been glitchy when on internet or other apps like sports you and weather apps like AccuWeather. This con also grains battery. It does work in its capacity to not view dangerous material. It also works in making me not want to use my phone at all. Sometimes it blocks simple websites or interferes with visiting them, such as Cabelas.

    This app has been extremely helpful but recently the VPN turns on and off every few seconds and prevents me from using all internet. I have uninstalled and reinstalled the app as directed multiple times and this still happens. Should not be paying almost $20 a month to loose internet on my phone.

    The updated VPN toggles on and off constantly. It affects everything. Text messages are slow to send/receive, podcasts no longer play, browsing is super slow, even my Bible app doesn’t work now. I’ve had Covenant Eyes for over four years and it has mostly been ok but what’s going on for the past couple weeks with the new VPN is insufferable. FIX THE VPN ASAP PLEASE!!! Update: After uninstalling and reinstalling Covenant Eyes the VPN seems to be behaving. It’s unfortunate that it took weeks to get it fixed and the need to reinstall hence the three stars. I’ve never had to reinstall an app before. Seems like my most expensive app shouldn’t be the one causing me the most trouble. Update 1/15/2025: again the VPN is toggling on and off, drastically retarding my phone. I probably need to uninstall and reinstall it but I SHOULDN’T HAVE TO.

    Update 1-15-25: Guys just delete the VPN. Still get the benefits of the screenshots but it probably won't capture background activity. if you only use the Safari app for browsing then that shouldn't be an issue. At least until they fix the issue This needs to be addressed ASAP. As many mentioned, this bug renders your phone useless as it can't maintain a connection for anything. Please at least add the ability to turn off the auto enable feature for VPN so that we can use our phones with some level of monitoring without out right deleting the app from our phones.

    While I am very glad that Covenant Eyes has helped me stay away from porn the biggest frustration I have is that I CANNOT access anything on my phone. There are frequent times I’m unable to access websites and apps. For example, I parked my car and I was unable to access the parking website to pay. I had to move my car. I also had four bars of service. I frequently have this problem where my phone says I have to internet but have four of service. I believe after reading some reviews that it’s related to my VPN. I have contacted the customer service and they are very kind, but have, so far, unable to help.

    Just a terrible app. Great intention. But it constantly stalls out any activity in your phone searching for VPN over and over again. When you inquire, they don’t fix anything. They just tell you to delete and reinstall. Which works for a brief period of time. Charging you every month seems like a scam for such a poor product.
